This supermarket opened late last year. It is by far the best supermarket in Somerset. The choice is phenomenal. It is a pleasure to shop here. I wish it was closer to my home. The staff are so friendly especially the vigneron. read more

Whether you are looking for breakfast (serving sausage and bacon baps on the day we were there), groceries (large selection of local meats and vegetables), local cider / beer / spirits or even gifts, this is the place for you. Everyone was very friendly and the quality of the meat and produce was very high... the cider was pretty damn good too. A necessary bookmark for anyone going to the Jurassic Coast. Also, they also sell flowers, plants and children's wetsuits (of course)!

It sells clothes, male and female, George's designer used to design for Next. Good quality and inexpensive. Cds and dvd's - look in Asda first, for example Mamamia dvd about £2.50 cheaper in Asda than Sainsburys. Good choice of cards, wrapping paper and flowers, flower wrapping service. Off Licence department very reasonable and extensive, often has offers on beer and wine and champagne. Great fresh fish counter and butchery. Fantastic value all under one roof. Only black mark I would give it is that the sale by dates are often very nearly out of date but great for a large family with big and healthy appetites.

It's surprisingly well-stocked for a town the size of Langport and has a good range of products. It's maybe more expensive than Tesco in Yeovil (or maybe we are just seduced into buying better quality goods here). It even had a supply of Polish goods for the locals. It's a thriving place and definitely an asset to Langport.

leaving Tesco yesterday I realised I had a puncture so pulled in to the recycling area opposite the…read morepetrol station. the gentleman in there offered to help me as he was an ex RAC patrol man. in the end he couldn't as I did not have the correct equipment. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped to offer help, in the end a lovely young man from Latvia came and helped me. He pulled out this huge screw/ bolt from the tyre then repaired it with something magic that looked like a rubber plug. I don't know his name, he said he lived in new Milton and he had a blue car. He really was a saviour to me. I was so amazed that so many kind people came to my aid and offered help. with all the bad things happening in this world today, all the people who stopped were just kind and wonderfu, I'm glad I live in this great country.

The petrol station is great and usually the cheapest in the area. The store has been clean and well maintained on every visit. The checkouts move fast so you don't end up waiting for ages to pay after doing your shopping. There are always plenty of trolley and a lot to choose from in Asda. I find the prices in Asda very competitive and i usually end up with loads of food for a very reasonable price. The pizzas that are made to order in the store offer fantastic value as do the Asda smart price items. The only negitive is the traffic lights on the entrance and exit are a complete pain!

Petrol prices here are usually the same as Tesco and Morrison, although Asda always seems to be the first to put them down. Pay-at-pump options only at very quiet times such as Sunday afternoon. It does get busy, understandably, but it's always worth a trip anyway. The car park is large so there is usually somewhere to park the car. Probably the worst customer service I have ever come across…read more If you buy Nicorette then go to the self service till it is impossible to scan as the security packaging goes across the barcode. If you ask the assistant politely to remove the packaging so you can scan it then they insist upon refitting it after scanning so they can take it off again once in your bag. Absolutely bonkers. Coupled with a stupid superviser (jobsworth) who cannot see how daft this is. Wont do my weekly shop at Tesco Dorchester ever again. Not even an apology...just nonsense from the supervisor. Very unhappy. Why dont they fix the packing so you can scan it??? Biggest problem though is the supervisor who doesnt understand how to treat a a regular customer who wont be shopping there again. So rude and stupid.

Morrison's have some good special offers and promotions. The store sells mainly groceries but it also has some household items, DVD's, CD's, Toy and games. The store is arranged into isles, which makes it easier to find all the products you are looking for. There are many checkouts at Morrison but at busy time, there are queues but these usually move fast and are not very long. The staff are always very helpful if you need any assistants they are very willing to help.
