Had a very poor experience tonight in Asda. As usual, the price marked on the shelf is not the…read moreprice when scanned so I took a photo of the shelf and when using the self checkout I showed it to the woman at the tills. She wouldn't look at my photo, instead she asked me to show her the items that were incorrect. I pointed to them (even though they were very visible in the trolley) She then asked me what aisle they were on, I said I took a photo, this was ignored and she said a price check would have to be done. Off she went, 10mins later she returned and said she wasn't adjusting the price as the reduction had expired?! I, as a customer is supposed to know this how? I told her that was ridiculous as the shelf was clearly marked as a rollback price but she was very adamant with me that she was not going to adjust the price, it had expired and she was unable to override it. Well I know for a fact this is nonsense as I purchase these products on a regular basis and they have never been marked down correctly. Strangely the staff during the day just say "Oh those still are not scanning properly, I will adjust them" This member of staff was not obliging whatsoever, she claimed management would not allow this and the best she can do is reduce one of the items, rest would be charged at the higher price! Considering they are still 50p more expensive each than in Tescos, I told her that I wasn't accepting the reduction in just one so she lifted the items from my trolley and confiscated them! Wow! Unbelievably poor customer service! The joke was her outfit said 'Happy to help' Asda take these people off your customer facing roles! Very, very off putting! Stock levels in store were shockingly bad too!

Shopping in this horrible little excuse for a Sainsburys is not on my radar normally, but we were in Craigavon and called in.Fish wife from hell would be the phrase that springs to mind when it came to our check out operator. Heavily tattooed (not that this is wrong but not that attractive scrawled over nicotine stained fingers) and a voice that could strip steel, we were scared..or at least I was, the GF is a brave little soldier and stood her ground in the presence of such a horror, while I tried to stuff myself into the nearby recycle bin. Anyway back to the store, understocked, poorly laid out and just not that appealing, plus you have to PAY for a trolley, and sometimes you just don't have that pound coin with you. I really do prefer Sainsburys above all the others. But not this one '

Walk through the doors and it initially looks like a spacious, well stocked supermarket. There's fruit, veg, chilled and frozen sections, cards, stationary, a deli counter and an off licence in store. You'll also find a petrol station, car wash and restaurant (The Scullery) on site. Overall a bit similar to an Applegreen Service Station. Unfortunately I just don't like it. Every item's ridiculously overpriced and the grocery selection isn't particularly extensive. Nor is there anything here you wouldn't get in other standard supermarkets. Plus, apart from a token couple of soya milk cartons and Quorn packets the vegetarian and vegan options are virtually nonexistent. I'll not be rushing back.

A superb selection of fresh fruit and veg, not to mention a mouth watering assortment of frozen food too, the likes of diced onion, carrots and peas etc etc. You can buy all your groceries here just about, apart from big cuts of beef, but they do a fantastic selection of pies, tarts, cakes, pre packed ready cooked veg and much more.
