The range of food was decent enough and although there wasn't a great deal of stuff to surprise and delight the true foodie with 'out there' choices it had all the traditional crowd pleasers and it does them very well. The staff are nice, chatty and friendly and you never seem to be putting them out by being there as you feel in some places. The café is clean and tidy as well as feel cosy and bright. The coffee machine is a proper espresso maker however I was initially worried when I saw the lady take out a kind of tea bag thing and but it in the espresso basket, the pre-prepared 'Nespresso' type thins aren't usually great, and although it hardly constituted the best quality of coffee I've ever had it was far from bad. All this and the prices are decent too. The only thing was like many people nowadays I like to sit and read the news, catch up on Facebook, check Yelp for the place I'm in when I'm in cafes and the phone signal in the centre of Magherafelt isn't great, as there is no Wi-Fi available, you are kind of stuck.

There's obviously been a lot of money pumped in to it since it was last called a 'corner shop'. On a recent trip we stopped here for some drinks on the way down and it was so good and so convenient that we stopped again on the way back. In the complex there's a Spar store with (cheap) fuel provided by GO. The Spar store is brilliant. It comes equipped with a food court selling fresh soups and sandwiches as well as customer toilets. It's kind of like a motorway services. Although it's not technically on a motorway. If you're traveling to Omagh/Enniskillen from Belfast then I'd recommend coming off the A5 to go here. Fuel is cheap, there's plenty to choose from when it comes to food and you can have a wee rest stop before continuing your journey.

While it is in an unusual location down an alleyway - it is a very vibrant coffee shop and many regular customers. Food and drink is reasonably priced. Much cheaper than Starbucks and far nicer. £5 for a panini and coffee of your choice? Bargain I say! I also know the staff well, so there is good craic and banter to be had. Free wi-fi, great service, wide range of food, daily offers, a loyalty card, and an exceptional cup of coffee. So bring your friends, family and relax and enjoy the coffee!
