Easy quick parking were I can always find a good place to park my car. There is also a gas station next to the car park and is easy to find. Tesco Hythe is the smaller of the two stores in Colchester, and is by no means the best. The usual Tesco set up is present, with cheap food and a huge variety of goods. The main disadvantage with the Hythe store is its proximity to the University of Essex. At weekends, the supermarket is overrun by students stocking up on cheap booze and crisps, meaning the store is extremely busy and a nightmare to shop in. Also, Tesco Hythe does not have quite the same range of non-food goods as its bigger brother up the road. In all, good but not perfect. read more

Tescos is massive and stocks everything in the entire world - or so it seems! Not yet found i needed something and they didn't stock it. Keep trying to catch them out but pesky place beats me every time! read more

Massive and ugly, but its cheap, has basically everything under one roof and is fairly well connected, near a bus stop, main road and Hythe train station; also has a large car park and petrol station near the entrance read more

easy parking ,i can always find a space easily here. if its a sunny day this car park has lots of trees to park under in the shade it also has a hand car wash that does a very good job the supermarket is just average and very big and bland read more

On a bus route, near station. does get busy. but it is the closest to town. out of the to stores in town - this one does not have as many deals in store. does have a petrol station. every little helps read more
