Well Tesco, this is probably the biggest supermarket chain in the UK if not in the world. At Tesco they sell everything from groceries, to DVDs to games to car insurance to mobile phones. You can quite literally pick up anything. However is that a good thing? Well to be honest as a supermarket its just too big, you wouldnt dare walk into there and buy just some milk or bread. Furthermore i must say Tesco food in general is not that good, i find they are a bit low quality, bit cheap although they do have a price to match it. Tesco in general is probably the cheapest of the supermarkets, with the most offers and everything however i still dont think its that much cheaper. Where you win in areas you lose in others. Tesco also offer home delivery, so no probs getting the shopping home. read more

The Tesco in house Phone Store is under staffed. You have to wait an age to be served. The manager is pompous and his assistant Riz spends too much time with customers ...especially if there women. He offers too much and does not know how to move customers on. I watched him with female customer who wanted to know how to transfer information from old phone to new. He spent ages telling her how to do it....then took phones from her and said come back in 15 minutes and i will do it for you. It is the customers responsibility to transfer information....not his responsibility!!! You would sell more phones if more organised....it is a lame excuse to say you are under staffed! read more

Very helpful staff. Popped in at 1.30am to buy 6 computer keyboards that I needed for an overnight project. Staff helped me find the right ones and even went out the back to get extra for me when the shelf ran out. read more

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we have the overhead signs reinstated. The end of aisle signs may be good marketing strategy but I find them less than useless. On a number of aisles there is a notice of one selection of products. At the other end a different group of products. Sausages and bacon are to be found in an aisle marked World Foods!! I spoke to Tyler who was very helpful and he finally suggested I write to the management. PLEASE reinstate the old signs and leave the others for those who find them helpful. read more

Tescos are great. They have some fab offers, and do the best croissants!! They always have good prices and friendly staff. Also the cafe is great. They have a good variety of food and stuff. They also have their one value brand which i think are very good quality considering the price is sooooo cheap. The store is usually well laid out, and clean. good selection of fresh cream cakes and donuts.. cookies.. etc.. read more

A very large Tesco outlet open 24 hours 6 days a week. Over the years i have managed to do most of my shopping from here. I do not like that it is located away from the town centre more toward Quorne, however it is very useful as it is always open read more

Tesco is an excellent place to shop cheap prices lots of choice and great value however this site is situated on the outskirts of loughborough and unless you drive is not the easiest place to get too. Once there thought the store makes up for this slight downfall read more

Dwindling range of items (if I like it, they seem to cancel it), poorly stocked offers and upward price creep. To cap it all half points at the petrol station is really mean. read more

Please be warned if you park your car in the car park at the Park Road Tesco store in Loughborough and it is vandalised you will discover that they do not have CCTV covering the car park to help identify the action but even more upsetting that no-one from the store will contact you to ask if you are okay, if the police have been in touch etc. I knew customer service at Tesco stores was pretty poor but this has shown me just how poor. read more

I went to the Loughborough Tesco Store on 29th March 2013 to the mobile phone shop because my son had lost his mobile and had a contract. We were served by a young man who's name unfortunately I did not catch hope the receipt number will shed some light and that the staff and managers of Tesco read this (Receipt at 12.29 on 29/3/13 2849 151 4951 2852). The insurance had run out and the poor lad did everything he could to try and get us a good deal. Not only did I get a new phone for my son but he looked at my contract too, bringing it down and getting a newer, smarter phone. Nothing was too much trouble for this lad he was friendly, helpful, informative and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him and think he deserves a commendation on his professional, friendly customer care give to me and my partner.
