This is the local grocer in Lockerbie. The store is large, and it's rather unique. Kind of set up like a Walmart, it has a small section where you can pick up your sundries like clothing, pots and pans and what have you, but the rest of the store is your food stuffs.
What amused me is that here in the states, we focus on fresh food, not so much. The produce section was small and sad. Their cheeses were mostly cheddar and local at that. And while I don't have a problem with that, I do prefer some other things.
Fresh meats are there, but bacon was wholly different. And don't get me started with salad dressings and such. It was completely different than we're used to.
