I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped to offer help, in the end a lovely young man from Latvia came and helped me. He pulled out this huge screw/ bolt from the tyre then repaired it with something magic that looked like a rubber plug. I don't know his name, he said he lived in new Milton and he had a blue car. He really was a saviour to me. I was so amazed that so many kind people came to my aid and offered help. with all the bad things happening in this world today, all the people who stopped were just kind and wonderfu, I'm glad I live in this great country.

Obviously you wouldn't use this shop for your large weekly shop as the selections are limited but there is a wide range of products available - albeit not necessarily the cheaper options in every case. What this shop is really good for is stocking up on picnic food to take down to the beach so that you don't have to spend a fortune on food at a cafe or takeaway fish and chips. Bearing this in mind, at busy periods and at the holiday season this shop gets crowded.

If you ask the assistant politely to remove the packaging so you can scan it then they insist upon refitting it after scanning so they can take it off again once in your bag. Absolutely bonkers. Coupled with a stupid superviser (jobsworth) who cannot see how daft this is. Wont do my weekly shop at Tesco Dorchester ever again. Not even an apology...just nonsense from the supervisor. Very unhappy. Why dont they fix the packing so you can scan it??? Biggest problem though is the supervisor who doesnt understand how to treat a a regular customer who wont be shopping there again. There is a dedicated desk in the clothes and electrical area that can help you with any stock that isn't out on display. It has a large fruit and veg section as well as a bakery but the frozen food isle are not that big.
