I often use this Tesco express when I run out of milk or bread or other essentials. It is the…read morenearest store for me as Irthlingborough is quite limited for shops. It stocks all the essentials and has a good range for a small store, but obviously the range is limited. For example, you can't get the low fat versions of things like you can in the bigger stores. They sell some fruit and veg, some fridge items and have a small freezer section too as well as the usual tinned and packaged items, toiletries and magazines. It is more expensive than the normal Tescos stores, but it is convenient for local people and the staff are good too. It is close to the car park at the end of the street which is free to park in.

Management of this store is very poor, shelves seem to low on stock and vast spaces in the store suggest the business is reducing offerings and fundamentally progressing towards closure. Car-park (lower level) park at your own risk, supports everywhere as if the upper level is going to collapse. Shame this used to be a thriving business, either bad management or a severe lack of investment (or a combination of both). Go to sainsburys nearby, much better supermarket.

Biggish supermarket,with very big cafe that sells hot…read moremeals,drinks,sandwhiches,cakes,crisps,milkshakes,coffee and lots more,meals can sometimes take a while but have started to come quicker lately. There are toilets in store including disabled and baby change. The store sells normal supermarket stuff along with now been the only store in kettering were you can still get a mix and match salad,also sells gifts cards,pc games,dvds,cds,magazines,cards and more.

Set on…read morethe outskirts near Hunsbury and Danes Camp Leisure Centre this is the supermarket of choice for many people who live or work on the South side of Northampton. Open 24 hours a day Mon - Sat and open on Sunday. If you love Tescos this is well laid out, bright and carries all stock ranges. There is now an ordering point for Tesco Direct and a new cafe run by Costa Coffee. Parking is a bit of a mare as it is always busy. Allow a bit of a walk. On site petrol station.

Out of date goods on the shelves, the first was a lemon drizzle cake 2 days out of date, the second was a birthday cake my daughter bought for her daughter, a working mum found the Harry Potter cake and it was only when she went to serve it and opened the box, realised it was out of date. Both these items were bought to be used on the same day as purchase. Very disappointed little girl. The first item returned received a response of 'sorry about that' as did the second. No assurance that the bakery section would be checked and staff asked to ensure stock rotation and removal of goods passed their use by dates . I worked for Tesco as a bakery supervisor a lifetime ago and we would have been in serious trouble if out of date stock was on the shelves,now it is shrugged off as normal. Very sad. Come on Tesco restore some confidence, check your shelves, remove out of date stock, customers shouldn't have to check dates of products - that's your job.

as good as an iceland store should be the car park that…read moreservices this store is chargable, so unless you want to take advantage of the other stores in this precinct, or those in the nearby Gold Street, I would recommend using the Iceland store in St James, where parking is free

I wanted to surprise him with a housewarming gift, but being in San Francisco at the moment my options were limited, so I decided on having some goodies delivered. This meant getting the delivery on Saturday, since that would be the only day I could guarantee his presence during delivery hours without tipping him off. After some googling I decided on the Wholefood Co-op, however I misread their site, where it clearly states deliveries are on Sunday. After finishing the online order, I expected someplace to select a delivery date (as some grocery stores do here) but there was none. There was a comment field though, so I wrote a note asking for Saturday delivery, and explaining I was not the resident. I also shot an email to the contact listed on the site. Within a few hours I received a reply from Paul, stating deliveries were on Sunday, I apologized for the mistake and said I'd cancel the order and Paul replied asking for my phone number. I told him it was a US number but sent it anyway and a few minutes later received a call (10PM UK time!), I explained why I needed Saturday, and he said the address wasn't to far and he'd be out on shop business anyway so not to worry about it. Like that isn't enough, turns out when he got there Saturday my boyfriend was not home yet, and there was no good place to leave the groceries and no way to contact either of us. So Paul took the groceries back to the store and repeated the delivery attempt on Sunday, this time successfully! So, for being quick to communicate, extremely patient, and getting the job done, five stars :)

This store is pretty small so a haven from the gigantic asda across the road. The petrol station is…read morealways totally heaving though. The sainsbury's is a sainsbury's so what can you say? This store does have quite a lot of clothing and un-food products compared with some of the others. The cafe is cheap and food reasonably good, a good alternative to Maccy D's or other fast food and a comfortable place to eat with children.

The sainsburys is nicely laid out and fairly spacious. As you walk in to the right are magazines and beyond this clothing, CDs and electicals to the left is fruit and veg and then well all the stuff you would expect to find It has a pharmacy a cafe and a dry cleaners (which isnt cheap) Queues at tills are normally ok and the store feels quite spacious and also relaxing in compariosn with other supermakrets such as the asda over the road. I would recommend this store for a quieter shop
