I always have my grocery shopping delivered from this store, and the drivers are so kind and courteous and professional, especially helpful as i am disabled. so today thought would go in with my husband as i needed a new lap top and a new mobile. Well wish i had not bothered! First of all the disabled spaces near to the shop were full, not that there are many of them its all mother and child spaces that take importance. After struggling into the shop, we went to the tech department but there were no laptops on display other than small screen ones. We then went to the mobile part, but unfortunately the 2 staff there were not interested at all. One was trying to convince a lady who wanted a basic phone that she needed a i phone 7 and the one who eventually deigned to get off his arse and put his own phone down, knew NOTHING about the phone i was interested in. He did not know what system it was using nor if it was the most up to date, all he kept saying was "i dont know, i dont know". We decided to go up to the cafe, again a huge disappointment, 4 staff on 3 of whom were hanging around, and one lady doing all the work, cant these youngsters get the idea that when you go to work you should do just that? The finisher was on the way out when i asked whether they had a screen for click and collect, the young woman at the customer services till said "yeah back there". As i am blind i could not see where she was pointing, as i turned her colleague said, so that i could hear her "if she took her sunglasses off she could see the signs". Well you ignorant excuses for humans, when a person has a white stick and dark glasses its a bit of a giveaway that they have sight impairment or are blind. Learn a little bit of integrity, it may happen to you one day. Tesco - done for - another customer lost. read more
