We had our (una at) huling hirit sa tag-init at WaterCamp Resort in Kawit, Cavite. The place was okay, it was a big waterpark (I like saying that word because it reminds me of the movie Grown Ups) with adult and kiddie pools with slides, and a wave pool. The shower rooms were clean and relatively well-maintained considering there are a lot of people coming there. Guests can choose to stay in tables or cabanas according to their budget and there are several areas for grilling, so families can definitely bring their baon, or order from the restaurant inside (which I wasn't able to try, unfortunately). I liked that the place is very family-friendly; it's ok to swim in t-shirt and shorts (as long as there's no metal) and they're very strict about prohibiting alcoholic drinks in the vicinity. I had a slight issue about breastfeeding my four-month old baby in the cabana, but I'm pretty much used to nursing in public by now. The entrance fee was reasonable (240 for adults, 210 for kids) for the place is big with lots of amenities. My daughter had the BEST time swimming there. She just swam and swam until she was too tired and fell asleep. She was so happy that I think an hour drive going to the place is absolutely worth it.

A HIDDEN GEM! A must go retreat for family, big groups, honeymooners, quick getaway, etc! Only less…read morethan 3 hour drive from Manila. The road going towards the resort is so narrow. You would not think this didn't go anywhere! We actually tried booking through Airbnb but they only limit it to sixteen people; or I think Airbnb's requirement. The representative told us to communicate through Facebook instead as we needed a big group reservations for 30 as their description on Airbnb stated they can accommodate up to 30 people! Easy reservations with them via phone and the best place to go so far since visiting the main island! The resort has their own farm of fruits and veggies so everything is fresh and depends on the season; they can only make certain meals during the season. Food is pretty decent. We reserved the villa for our stay called - 'Sta. Teresita Villa' where it has its own private infinity pool. The villa has its own kitchen, two and half bathrooms and two bedrooms. It has great views! It was so awesome! We all didn't want to leave!! We also rented additional rooms that had outdoor jacuzzi's. You can order set meals for 5 or 10 or ala carte. Just to let you know, if you are used to American portions, you may have to order more than average. They have fresh buko drinks, too. They plan to add a zip lines in the resort. I can't wait! Tips to remember: - Weather is still very warm here so don't over dress. OK, I mean HOT and humid! - Bring bug spray especially during rainy season. Bugs are huge here!! Bring slippers! - pools have overhead covers so even if rained on, you can still swim. Bring waterproof camera bags. - No wifi except in the lobby. Free wifi. 3G goes on and off within the resort so good luck! No use coming here if you are working! - It's easy to use Waze to get here but leaving, make sure to start the Waze while using the wifi in the lobby or it won't turn on till a few km's out! Remember how you got there. - They do accept credit cards. - Bring snacks or drinks as their snack bar is limited. - Make sure to explore the resort, their crops and their pet snakes! - They do have a few blackouts. - Wake up before sunset to check out the lake and mountain views! Bring your good cameras! Also, love the weather in the morning! For my 650th review, I am dedicating it to Noni's Resort! Staff were very accommodating and super friendly for our big group! Prices were pretty good for our staff and what was offered. I will definitely recommend anyone to check them out and stay for a quick weekend getaway! You won't regret it! [69/100]

There are not many rooms in the whole resort so you can expect to be helped fast. They accept cash and major credit cards. A HUGE plus is that I checked in at 9am - waaay earlier than regular check in hours obviously and later than the regular checkout time by half an hour or so but since the resort was relatively empty when I stayed, they had no problem with it and did not charge me anything extra. I had also booked it for a day earlier than I meant to, and it was difficult trying to get in contact with them, but I emailed them and they changed it with no hassle as well! There is a decently large staff working the resort and many of them speak conversational english. The dining building has filtered water, tea, and coffee available at all times. They will also serve buffet style lunch or dinner (500-600 pesos) and a la carte smoothies and food as well, and the buffets were hit or miss for me but the a la cartes were great! There are a lot of flies out there so the flies sort of eat the food with you.. you are free to take the food inside to your room though! The staff is also constantly asking to make sure you are enjoying your stay and sort of hovers to check that you dont need anything else. By the water they have a dive shop where they rent out gear and provide boat service. (also great photo op location for the sunset). A downside was that when we I was getting tanks from them, they used tanks labeled NITROX but had regular air. Some of the tanks were not super recently inspected either. No bueno. But we tested it before using it to confirm that it was okay,, but I guess things are pretty lax in the philippines. Overall a great stay!

Lunch and dinner options are okay but a little pricey. Don't expect too much on the breakfast options. The beef tapa is dry and there's no flavor at all! They serve powdered orange juice which was nasty. Check out was a nightmare, they tell you their card machine is down so you can't use a card and the management will force you to pay in cash or GCash! On top of that they'll tell you that you used the stupid bath towels on your feet and you used it to dry your feet and only a bathmat can be used to dry your feet and now there's stain that can't be removed when all you did was wipe your feet so you don't slip and fall. Mind you they want to charge 1000 pesos per towel because they said they can't remove the stain anymore! I've stayed at so many hotels from high end to affordable ones and never ever have I been charged for a bath towel because I used it to dry my clean feet and because I left the dirty towel on the floor. Be really careful with the staff here because I really feel that they're just doing this so they can hustle you for cash and make up some ridiculous charges for their own benefit. WHAT A JOKE! Too bad the views are wonderful but the amount of stress is not worth it!

**Title: The Tragedy in Cebu--The Worst Hotel Experience I Never Want to Go Through Again**…read more In my entire life, I've never experienced a hotel as terrible as this one. I believe that nowhere else in the world could offer such distress as this hotel did. The nightmare began right at check-in. We had booked early, confirmed our reservation 10 days before our stay, provided copies of the IDs of all staying guests, and fully paid the total amount. But we were still made to wait over two hours in the sweltering lobby. When we complained, the front desk staff responded coldly. A staff member named Kaye arrived and said, "If you're not satisfied, just cancel! Claim your refund from the booking site you used." We wanted to cancel, but we had already paid 600,000 yen, and we didn't know if we could get a refund from Expedia, so we had no choice but to endure. Later, we found out from reviews that this hotel offers a full refund if you cancel within four hours after check-in. But none of the staff, not even the manager, told us this. They shut down our complaints by citing their "policy," but when the policy was unfavorable to them, they didn't mention it. We only discovered this refund policy by reading the owner's response to a complaint in a review. We requested to add one more person to our reservation, and they readily agreed. We paid the additional fees, including for an extra bed, and finally got into the room. When we asked for the extra bed, we were kindly told, "It will arrive shortly, please just wait." But even after waiting over two hours, nothing came. When we called the front desk, we were told that an extra bed couldn't be placed in our room. They hung up as if nothing had happened. The woman who gave the information over the phone was Kaye. After three hours, a mattress, pillow, and blanket finally arrived, but towels and toothbrushes didn't come until the third night. Because of this, we had to cancel a birthday party reserved at a restaurant, ruining the celebration. The next day, our room wasn't cleaned because we left the card key in the slot. A small note said, "We will not clean the room if the card key is left in the slot." When we asked the front desk for help, they told us that the cleaning service for the day was already done, so we had no choice but to use the wet towels from the previous night. It would have been better if they informed us of this earlier. When you call for a cart, even after 10 minutes, it still doesn't arrive. After a follow-up call, we were made to wait another 10-15 minutes. The cart finally arrived after 30 minutes. So if you book at this hotel and have plans, I suggest booking a cart 30 minutes in advance so your schedule won't be delayed. Be careful when filing complaints at this hotel too! If you complain, the staff stare at you as if they're going to do something bad to you. Their glares are terrifying. I can't fully describe the pain and sadness we experienced at this hotel. Many other guests had even worse experiences, according to the reviews we read. I don't understand how this hotel managed to be listed as one of the "high-rated" hotels on booking sites. Our long-awaited trip to Cebu was utterly ruined by this hotel. It's sad that such a beautiful place like Cebu was tainted by a hotel like this. I also want to share an experience we had in Boracay. Once, we booked five rooms in Boracay through a booking site. A week before our trip, I had an accident, so we had to cancel. I knew getting a refund would be difficult, but fortunately, the hotel said we could reschedule our stay. While they didn't give us a refund, they allowed us to stay at a different date when I was better. The communication with the staff was excellent, and even though I kept repeating questions out of worry, they patiently answered all my concerns politely. When it became clear that I still couldn't go, they offered to let my family stay in my place. I never expected to receive such service, especially from a hotel in the Philippines. I wanted to share this experience to highlight the stark contrast between the two hotels, even though both are in the Philippines. I try not to compare, but the difference in service is striking. It hurts to think that I didn't pay attention to the reviews before booking in Cebu, and I can never get back the money and time spent. In the end, not all the staff at this hotel were bad. Many were hardworking and polite. However, a few staff members and the owner's attitude, based on reviews, were enough to cause extreme disappointment. I'm sharing this review to help you avoid similar experiences and truly enjoy your trip to Cebu.

I remember saying to my sisters, "I feel like we're at a Disney Waterpark!" 4 days was definitely not enough to enjoy this water wonderland. The beach was amazing, though you had to beat the high tide and be there by the early morning. There were so many swimming pools and lagoons and I'm proud to say that I swam in all of them! Each pool is unique; some were freshwater pools, some were lagoons actually. Because of this, you wouldn't need to complain wherever your room is because each cottage is within proximity of a beautiful pool. They have a lot of facilities too! A spa, karaoke, golf field, and even archery and target shooting! And the restaurants... Oh, how delicious the food are! My favorite is Fiji restuarant because of the gargantuan tempura and quality Japanese food you can't compare to the ones you eat in Manila. And the Cebuchon! If you wander around enough, you'd find people roasting this black pig that makes your mouth water. The place is so massive that it makes it fun to wander around to see everything the resort has to offer. It's expensive, but hey, it's definitely worth it! My sisters and I even brought along paper lanterns and did a Tangled moment. It was a struggle at first, but a fun bonding experience I will always treasure.
