A couple weeks ago I heard some raccoons in my attic. Since I'm terrified of creatures I called a…read moreprofessional who quoted me $15,000 in repair work for damage caused by the raccoons. Today I called Carter Lambert at Lambert's Wildlife Services for second opinion. Carter came out within an hour of my call. He inspected the attic and concluded that there was nothing that even needed to be cleaned up. No droppings or urine, no damage to my duct work or wiring, no cause for any repairs, much less $15,000! He also didn't charge me a dime. It's such a great feeling to know that there are still honest people out there! If you ever need help with a wildlife issue, this is one company you can trust. Thanks again Carter.

**WARNING TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS -- PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS CAREFULLY AND EXPECT A REBUTTAL BELOW THIS…read morePOST. In my opinion, do NOT automatically believe the company's response without reviewing the actual facts and documentation yourself.** My experience with LaJaunie's Pest Control was extremely disappointing and financially stressful. I was sold a very expensive rodent package, including approximately **$18,000 in exclusion work** that was supposed to help prevent rats from entering the home, in addition to attic cleaning and ongoing pest services. Despite all of this work and money spent, I STILL had rodent activity afterward and was repeatedly told to "just wait, it takes a while." **PLEASE READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY.** From my understanding, the cancellation terms heavily favored the company and included major financial penalties tied to the remaining balance of the agreement. The billing issues became even more concerning: * After already making **11 out of 12 payments**, I was told I could cancel and would not owe additional payments. * I later continued receiving charge notifications and attempted charges to my card. * I spoke with **Shelly twice** and was specifically told there would NOT be an additional **$49 charge** because they were "just picking up bait boxes." * Another charge was still processed anyway. * When I called back, management stated I still needed to pay. I was also told the company "records everything," yet the information later being described as part of my alleged agreement was NOT what I stated during the conversations. I requested copies of the recordings they referenced and am still waiting. Fortunately, I also keep my own records of conversations. When I raised concerns, I was told the employee involved "no longer works for the company." Again: PLEASE document everything in writing, save screenshots, review every clause carefully, and get multiple opinions before committing to any large pest-control contract.

We started looking into companies that treat small areas of dry wood termites since we didn't need the house to be tented and found Lajaunie's. They offer a whole house no tent dry wood termite treatment that comes with dry wood termite coverage as long as you pay the annual inspection fee. It's pricey but the peace of mind that we won't be chasing the termites around the house is worth it. They treated the underneath of our house, the attic and drilled holes on both sides of each door and window to treat.

Yearly Termite Inspection - Service technician was great. Friendly and efficient. My reason for the…read more(2) rating was - there was one bait canister that was completely empty. It was replaced with fresh bait, but I question if that was all they should do ? Doesn't an empty canister indicate termite activity ? My house is raised and underneath is easily accessed. Should not a visual inspection of under the house in the area of the empty canister been done ? I feel it should be done. Apparently LaJaunie's inspection procedures don't require actually looking for infestation. A visual inspection would have given them a GREAT rating instead of a 2. Guess I'll get under the house and do the visual inspection myself.
