No call ahead, no follow up, terrible communication, the manager called and begged me to pay for half of the service since they claim they did that part. Do not contract with Terminix. If I had to do it all over again, I would select a local rodent control company. Terrible customer service. We hired Terminix November 2025 for a mouse problem in our house and garage. Once the contract was signed two (2) employees came out to perform the residential exclusion service by sealing up any possible entries into the house and garage, and setting up numerous glue traps inside the house and garage. /at the time I was told they felt confident they sealed up the entry points and would wait a week to come back and seal any inside access points and seal the corners of the garage doors. I was advised that if mice were caught in the traps, Terminix would come out and remove the mice. They did come out on December 12th and finished the exclusion work and set more traps. The next day I caught 2 mice in the same trap in the garage and on December 15th my service tech said he would schedule an appointment to come out. December 18th still no response from Terminix and I texted my Rep and called the 800 number to advise the lack of response and that I saw another mouse in the garage. My Tech asked if anyone had been out and I said no. December 26th I caught another mouse in the house, but have still not received a response from my December 13th inquiry. I finally called the 800 operator on December 26th and she said I was scheduled for December 30th 8-10am. At 10am December 30th, I texted my Rep and he said he was on vacation and that I was not on his schedule. January 1st found another dead mouse in a basement trap and advised my Rep. He said I was scheduled for January 9th, which is the earliest they could be out. I even drove out to the local office in La Vista and nobody with Terminix was in the office. Checked my basement this morning, January 6th and another mouse caught in a trap. This one was still alive and crying for help. I had to again remove this mouse from my house, something my Rep told me I would not have to do. Now I'm moving traps around my house to replace the ones used. I don't have extra traps and at the mercy of Terminix to come out, reassess my problem and set up more traps. December 13th from my first call until today, no service response. They sure took my initial payment fast enough and don't live up to the promises made during the sales visit and first exclusion visit. I would rather cancel my contract after less than 2 months, receive my full refund and never deal with Terminix again! read more

Scheduling system is ridiculous; The website says one thing, the operator on the phone says another and the technician shows up at random times. Technician showed up, did the outside and left, even after personally requesting inside service -included in the contract- when he arrived. Called Terminix 4 times, every time with a promise of a call back from the Omaha office that never materialized. The fourth time, the person on the phone said there was no record of a prior complaint, so she couldn't escalate it. 4 days after the incomplete service, and four 30-45 minutes on the phone each, I have yet to hear from the Omaha branch and I am still being billed $120 for service not provided read more

I would not recommend doing business with terminix, they rarely return calls, do very lazy work and when we tried to call them numerous times about sightings we were told well I don't really know when they come out because I do not get a report. First appointment the gentleman showed up on time and spayed and of course I don't expect to get rid of ants with just one spray, so I called them out to do a second (the hold time was ridiculous). They scheduled me out a week later and they did a no show... and there was no call. When I try to call I'm always on hold forever eventually hanging up. The initial call in to sales was answered quickly when I decided to start services. I did call the sales team to see if I'd get someone quickly to answer and I did, but she transferred me to customer service once she found out I was an existing customer and was yet again on hold forever getting no answer. I would not recommend to use this company due to the customer service and the no show. ***update*** I finally got ahold of a service manager in Omaha and his reasoning for the no call no show was an oversight on their end since it was "scheduled" through their customer service team which is not based in Omaha and not in direct contact with their branch and apparently the tech that was supposed to come was not supposed to be on the schedule. He didn't apologize or try to understand, just kind of said in a matter of fact manner that this happens. We signed up because they said they would spray inside and outside. They came out fine for the first treatment. (We were home). When it was time for the second treatment they said "no need to be home". How would they spray inside if we aren't home. I scheduled for a day I'd be home so I could make sure they came inside...they never showed up. I called this morning I ask why and was informed they had rescheduled me for two weeks later without informing me of the change or seeing if that day worked for us. I've called customer service twice about this appointment. Their customer service department is not in the US and the first agent thought the abbreviation for Nebraska (NE) stood for northeast. A salesmen in the neighborhood sold me a one time service treatment that turned into an auto billing cycle. They literally showed up to my house when I was not home and charged me for a service I did not want 3 months later. I tried calling to get this issue resolved multiple times but every time I got transferred and told that I would get a call/email/text in the next 2 days to resolve it. Never happened. I tried on 4 different occasions to get this fixed and they give me the same runaround each time. I ran into their new route manager Mark in the street and he was very helpful explaining how the carpenter ants in the trees posed a threat to my home. I was cautious after having a bad experience with Orkin 5 years ago but Terminix sent out their best technician Kip the next day who was friendly and even did more things than Mark promised me! He even treated for some moles in the backyard. Great job, I'll probably stick with them if they continue to satisfy. read more

Don't think I can give a negative rating - but if I could I would. Had Terminix come to our house in August, 2018 to get rid of a bat problem we had in our garage. Actually had them come out a couple of times. We knew where the bats were coming in and Terminix made an attempt to plug the hole - but they were NOT successful. Needless to say, after paying over $1,000 to get the problem corrected - we still have the bats!!! Don't recommend Terminix for anything. read more

I am extremely pleased with my services at Terminix. I was fortunate to cross paths with the new Service Manager, Jacob, and one of their best technicians, Kyle. It is rare to find people who care about an issue, in your house, as much as you do, and who will take their time to make sure they are thorough in getting the job done correctly. After my home was sold, and I had canceled service they continued to provided service for the new home owners. Then they billed me, do not use. I have been trying to settle this issue for over a year. I am so frustrated with them and there is absolutely nothing nice to say. Way to go Alabama! Tremendous effort to do an emergency visit for a wasp nest (one member of of the household allergic). Very helpful representative on the phone, had service within 24 hours. Our usual serviceman came and not only handled the issue, but searched for and eliminated an additional nest. Above and beyond for all involved. read more

First time in 30+ years of life that I had a company sign my name on a legal contract without my knowledge. I verbally agreed to an appointment with Mark Hansen. He sends me an email with my signature (FORGED SIGNATURE) agreeing to pay financing fees I never knew about. None of my friends or family can believe a company would do this, even corporate Terminix didn't believe me. Mark Hansen also forgot my 90 day guarantee and mattress covers for bed bugs so I had to leave work early for that. I called to complain, I paid $1000+ over the phone with my credit card. Then Terminix financing company calls me a month later saying I need to PROVE that I paid them the money!!!! How do you lose $1000?? Oh, and there's still bed bugs in my house. read more

I called on Sunday July 23rd and spoke with somebody at their call center who initially discussed my need for pest services as i was having a problem with spiders and water bugs. I spoke w 3 people that day, the first to discuss the type of pest, the second who gave me a price quote and the 3rd to schedule the appointment. The gentlemen that scheduled the appointment said they could get somebody out wednesday between 8-10AM. I asked the man what day that was and he said the 26th we also discussed my 3 month contract would end October 26th. At the end of the call he confirmed that somebody would be out Wednesday, July 26th no earlier than 8am and no later than 10am. So Wednesday came and i had advised my boss i would be late for work and i sat and waited, nobody showed. At 10:00am i contacted the phone number to be told "maam your appointment hasnt been rescheduled and it looks like it was originally scheduled for Wednesday August 2 from 8-10AM". I said absolutely not if that was the case i would have taken my business elsewhere. The lady then advised me that "she didnt set the appointment, shes just trying to help" she then stated she would have somebody call me from the local office to be able to get somebody out this week. I waited all day until somebody finally called me at 4:30 and said the earliest they can be out is saturday the 29th between 3-5PM. I advised the man that would not work for me as i had plans on saturday and i told him i would call Orkin and would not be using Terminix ever again so he went on to say that he would move an appointment and would be here the 29th between 8-10AM. Well today is saturday the 29th, they didnt show up between 8-10AM so ia waited as i cleared my schedule i thought for sure they have to come between 3-5PM but i decided i would call them just to make sure as it was 4:15PM and still nobody had showed up. I called and used the automated system that told me that my appointment was Monday August 7th between 10AM-noon. At this point i was pissed, i spoke with a representative who gave me their go to story about how they cant do anything in that office but contact the local and district offices to have somebody call me but that she didnt know why the automated system is saying the 7th bc the notes on my account show Saturday the 29th between 8-10AM. I said i wanted to speak with a supervisor as i felt i deserved to be reimbursed with some sort of discount due to the lack of professionalism, well let me just tell you, as useless as the customer service rep is, the supervisor is worse. She was extremely rude and kept placing blame on the scheduling dept. Im sorry but passing the buck does not work for a customer who had missed work and rescheduled a meeting because of the unprofessional nature of the company. So i told them somebody better call me today and make this right to which i was told an email was sent to the manager at the local office to have them call me as soon as possible. As ive been typing up this review i have received 2 calls from their automated system asking about my experience with their representative and of course i gave them horrible scores. The crew never told me that I had to turn my gas off. They were supposed to put my tent on my house Friday and they did not take it off until Monday. I couldn't go into my house until Monday night. Fish tank had to be outside for four days and my gas was off for six. They will not reimburse me for any of my inconvenience when I was out of my house for three days. Long term customer, finally gave up on them. The management is not responsive to complaints. Pest control was sub par. Complaints were not addressed. Spiders were getting out of hand on the property. Webs everywhere, no inside treatments as stated. You can not talk to Omaha, always routed to a out of state operator. Termite control is sub par also, they do not inspect all the stations. I terminated the service informing the tech that came out to service the home. Next trip a new tech, ( always new, they can not keep help) told them I terminated. He said I'm on the ticket so he is going to do the service. I said if you do I will not pay. I was billed for the service. I sent a certified letter Nov 25, 2015 stating my case and attached the copy of their ad stating if your not satisfied they would refund the amount paid. I did the amount was 122.55 and no reply from this lousy company. I suggest you use a local person and not this company. LIARS! Would NEVER use again. Unethical and ineffective. They left a VM stating they would service the next day between 10 am - Noon. Next day: No show, no call and 2 people were home. Then their email arrives at Noon sharp stating that the service was completed!?! I called at 12:30 and the "technician's" phone number from yesterday's message did not accept messages since the mailbox was full?! After two more tries, the "technician" answers and says he was at my house but couldn't give me a time (LIE), then said "nobody was home" (LIE), then "left a note on the front door (LIE). After being bounced between 4 different people for another 35 minutes on the 800-Terminix #, I said I wished to speak to a manager, but it never happened ("the branch office wasn't answering their phones"????!!)--probably another LIE, and they said a manager would contact me within 24 hours. When I said I don't want the technician coming to my house (would you trust them inside your house?), 15 minutes later, he shows up and admitted he did not service the house (ok, one in the truth column).
