At 3:30 PM, nobody showed so I called again. The customer service agent said that Greg was the tech who was supposed to come out and that she would call him and his branch manager to find out why he never showed up. At 3:45 PM, Greg called me and said the job was given to someone else who was outside of my area and couldn't make it. He claimed he would be there in 45 min, at 4:30 PM An hour later, at 4:45 PM, he calls and says he can't find my address, his GPS is malfunctioning, and wants directions. He leads me to believe he's only 25 minutes away. At 5:45 PM, I see a Home Paramount car pull out front, so I go and grab shoes to meet him. By the time I get outside, he's a block away, driving down the street. He calls me almost 5 minutes later, saying he's lost. I told him I saw him turn around in the next door neighbor's driveway. He finally shows up and gets out of his car and says he wasn't given my whole address (only the first 2 digits of my house number). I finally show him the damage and he takes some measurements outside. He comes back with a quote of $1200 and I felt like he was pressuring me for money right then. He never explained the treatment options (spray or bait stations), never told me what kind of warranty, or anything. I told him that I wanted a written, detailed estimate and he agreed to email me the following day. Well, a week later, he never emailed me and I've gone with another company who charged $350 less, showed up on time, provided a written detailed estimate, completed the job, and were much more professional.
