Technician was very good. He is experienced and attempted several trouble shooting attempts to fix the refrigerator's Keurig coffee system including using new parts. Unfortunately he was not successful. I have serious doubts about my GE product and manufacturers warranty. My sense is after purchasing the warranty GE sold it to a third party so now I'm in limbo awaiting finger pointing. Meanwhile I'm without one of the key features of a new refrigerator that I've owned for a short two years. Bottom line .... I'd likely never purchase another GE appliance if this is not resolved in the next 72-hours! read more

for weeks, our dryer had been making a horrible noise and it turns itself off on the regular setting. we told the technician this. he didn't hear the full sound, just part of it as it turned on. but he didn't listen to us. he just checked for heat and left. as soon as he left, the dryer shut off and to dry out clothes, we had to set it manually and add time. he never said hey let's open it and see. He pushed it back and accused us of having it back too far. he was not friendly and literally gets paid by Lowe's for doing nothing. we told him we think the sound is the drum and he didn't look to see if it's a belt or the drum. it's clunking again and shuts off and he didn't look at it. he was useless and didn't care. he also took a call and really didn't try to see what is wrong. we never said it doesn't dry, just doesn't do that unless we set it manually because it shuts off. he didn't look at it at all. nd try opened it. and I made the appointment with Lowe's for the dryer. he thought he was here for the washer. just horrible service. read more

We originally reached out to Sterling Appliance, who referred us to Top Notch because they were…read morefully booked for several weeks. Our LG washing machine had been stalling out with an error code indicating an issue that was likely a failing vibration sensor, this would leave our clothes partially washed and sopping wet. John from Top Notch came to our house, observed the washer failing to complete a cycle multiple times with the same error code and listened to our concerns. After leaving to research the problem he left a voice mail later that day saying that he had consulted a colleague and suggested that we were just loading it incorrectly, he then described in detail how to properly load a washing machine. For context, we had been using this washer for three years without issue before it suddenly started failing mid-cycle, we are also both in our mid/late thirties so we have some experience doing our own laundry. We decided to go back to Sterling Appliance who believed us when we said there was a problem and they replaced the board with the sensor. Unsurprisingly actually performing the repair was more effective than gaslighting us about it and the washer is back to normal

Unfortunately I have to add to my review.. the gentle man was still very polite, but I don't know what he did when working outside on the AC.. I have a mini split.. 1 for ea bedroom and 1 in the dining room.. the one in master kept the temperature upstairs very comfortable, guest room turned on and nothing worked, dining room no cool air.. since the repair man did whatever he did outside, my bedroom no long blows any cold air.. it's so stinking hot up there, repair man told me I have a leak in the dining room one, and the one in the bed feels like the dining room!!! I'm questioning now, if it got a leak during the checkin???? I know this needs to be addressed with sears for sure.. they need to come back and fix what got messed up...I'm running on one ac unit in my house, worse now than before read more

We have had many other technicians who just want to change parts and don't try to figure out what is causing the problems. Blair H. came in to work on our freezer in the refrigerator and instead of just throwing parts at it, he actually found the problem and fixed it on the first time. If I ever have any other issue with our appliances I will be sure to ask for him by name. read more

Jeff was outstanding. Called prior to arriving and arrived on time. He was very clear on the issue with our double oven and took the time to walk me through what he was seeing.
