We enjoyed these natural hot springs and were amazed that they were truly free! It was a little out of our way traveling between Florence and Rome, but we were really glad we added it to our itinerary. There was a large paid parking lot down the street just a few mins walk from the pools. We parked here and hiked our beach bag in with us. You can get a locker for about 5 euros so we did that after changing so we could have free range of the pools. Theres also free bathrooms and a locker/showrt room. There is also a spot here to buy snacks and drinks if you want, or you could bring your own. The pools were impressive with a gorgeous cascade of natural pools of various sizes. The water cascades into the river below, and there were locals and tourists both enjoying the pools and relaxing with snacks on the riverside. The water was a good temperature, not too hot for a hot Italian summer day but also not at all cold. The sulfur smell was also not overwhelming. They are very rocky though and watershoes would be a good idea. Also important to note that these are a natural feature, so they aren't treated with chemicals or anything. There are lots of people mingling in them. There are also insects and whatnot that live in and around them, so be prepared for buggies. When we were there, some larvae must have just hatched cause there were squirmy red worms everywhere my finicky husband didn't love. read more

This was unbelievable! It was absolutely breathtaking and a sight everyone should experience! The falls were the perfect temperature and beautiful at sunset overlooking the golden fields. The evening is the best time to go because everyone seems to go to the falls during the day. read more

I've only been here a day, and I already feel like a princess. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Best service I've ever received in my life. Super helpful, and straightforward. They handle questions and concerns very quickly. I just had dinner at their restaurant and it was literally the best service and meal of my life. Complimentary procecco?! Yes please!!! The servers were like nothing I've experienced, and only $45 euro for a three course meal!!! The hot springs were very soothing today, and I enjoyed relaxing by the springs. More to come I bet!!! The only thing is it's not a "young person" place. I'm an old soul so I like it!! I heard two different musicians today. Also I got a package for buy two nights get one free. We spent a lovely afternoon relaxing here after flying in from Chicago. We drove straight from the airport in Rome to the spa and were not disappointed. We had salads at the cafe outside and relaxed in the pools. We had the spa experience including 2 chairs, umbrella, robe, and towels with access to the spa portion of the pools. My husband and I were happy that we chose this route as it was less crowded then the thermal park and much more relaxing. We were there on a Saturday so the thermal park was quite busy and noisy. The locker room was clean and had all the amenities you would need. PS-the free one down the road is great to see but super crowded! Not relaxing at all! We wanted to see what it looked like after seeing pictures online so we checked it out when we were done at Terme Di Saturnia. read more

This place really stinks - but in a good way! People have been bathing in these sulphur springs since Etruscan times. The water does amazing things for the skin. Its best to leave the residue on for a bit after bathing here for extra benefit. The temperature is exactly body temperature and the cascades are very pretty. Its free, too. Be careful in the pool as they are slippery and have some sharp rocks. Stay at least an hour in the water for best benefit to the skin. There is parking nearby. read more

We loved the public cascades of warm soothing water and spent several delightful hours there. We decided to pass on the terme at the golf and hotel because of the reviews being over priced and not very clean and we did not regret our decision. Go for it! read more
