I visited Terlingo from out of town and have never felt as welcomed and included. Nicky and staff were super friendly and really made an effort to get to know me. The class itself was fantastic and definitely a good workout. I consider myself an experienced rider and the class was still a challenge. It kept my heart rate up for almost the entire class but offered enough recovery so that I didn't feel intimidated. The energy of the other participants was high and had a real family feel. Unfortunately I do not think I will be going back to Terlingo due to John Terlingo's lack of Customer Service and handling of his mistake. I loved Nestor's class and Nestor but this really rubbed me the wrong way. And with the plethora of spin studios in Dallas, there are too many other choices. I have a Class Pass membership and always book my classes through class pass. I booked a class and then emailed John requesting to reserve a bike next to my friend. He misunderstood me and thought I needed to be added to the class, so he charged me a drop in fee. Fine. But then when I explained the situation and showed him my class pass reservation and that my credits were used for that class he continued to tell me that they weren't used even though I sent him a screen shot of my "Past" classes. Still refused to refund my money. He offered me to come to one of his classes for free, but I wouldn't have paid the $30 for the class in the first place since I pay for a class pass membership. Sure it's just $30, but the interaction I had with John and his absolutely refusal to admit that maybe he made a mistake and just refund my money is ridiculous that I don't know that I'm interested in going back. read more

My wife and I have been coming to TGO for over 3 months now, and have really enjoyed it. The class is challenging but fun, and staff has been friendly. Towels and weights are provided, and you can rent shoes or bring your own. All the instructors we've tried have been good, and John the owner seems to be a genuinely nice guy. His classes are VERY popular. Spin studio is less disco-like than some of the others we've tried, and that's a good thing in my book... I would wish that the music wouldn't be blasted so loud, but otherwise everything's great! read more

I LOVE JESSICAS CLASSES! Typically I'll burn about 300 calories in my spin classes but in hers, I hit 300 calories mid class! This is the kind of spin class that truly burns calories! She also doesn't get off her bike, she does the workout with you! Which is way more motivating than someone getting off their bike and swaying left and right with you. Terlingo is also nice because you don't have those bright lights on the bikes. I always use my Apple Watch so I never use the screens and the light just gets on my nerves. I can't say enough GREAT things about Terlingo Cycle! It has been a game-changer in getting toned while also working off the stress of work. As someone who hadn't cycled before, I was a little apprehensive going into my first class. Immediately after walking in the door, I felt completely comfortable due to how friendly the staff was and the help they provided in teaching me how to setup my bike. If I could go negative on this, I would, and it has nothing to do with the classes. I only took classes with a specific instructor, that is no longer there and his classes were amazing. I followed my favorite instructor to another studio and I am VERY happy. While at Terlingo Cycle, I witnessed so many tantrums from the owner that I was confused on if I was at an expensive, over-priced Cycle studio, or a kindergarten classroom. The amount of drama I witnessed while cycling at this studio was unreal. Employees would trash talk their co-workers to the clientele which made me feel so uncomfortable, the owner would THREATEN people not to go to other studios and brought his personal drama to the studio often. I purchased the unlimited ride package for over $3k, and only used it for a few months. After my favorite instructor left, I made the decision that I would rather lose out on THOUSANDS of dollars then be subjected to the craziness at Terlingo Cycle. read more

I took Lisa Pickells 10:30AM Sunday class. for starters, the ambience in the room is brilliant: dim lighting, candles, booming music system and an overall energetic vibe. come show time, the class just came alive. even though it was dark, I felt engaged, focused and on my game. Lisa's eclectic ams ranged from fist-pumping EDM to booty dropping HipHop to 80s90s pop rock and a few guilty pleasures here and there. her sequence was creative, challenging and heart-pumping. expect a series of bike push-ups, weights, fast interval climbs from saddle to sprint, and maybe a little dance party on the way. hint hint: any time a spin instructor gets off her/his bike and starts doing an impromptu dance to their own playlist = goldmine. best of all, Lisa puts her heart into it. her cool down at the end was what took the class from great to excellent. she incorporates a bit of yogi spirit and sends off her class with some positive vibes. a little means a lot sometimes. the facilities are clean, location is central, staff is friendly and the space is beautiful. I went to one of the classes at Terlingo for a friend's birthday celebration. I was not looking forward to it at all, workout classes intimidate me. Well, boy-o-boy was I surprised! I left there wanting to go back again as soon as possible! It was so much fun, yet one of the toughest workouts. Truth be told, I don't even enjoy working out that much, but their classes completely changed my attitude. The energy is awesome. The instructors and staff are so helpful!
