Very friendly people and the food is very delicious. I always enjoy eating here. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere and welcoming.

This was our first and last time trying Tequila Grill. There was five of us and we all agreed that it was the worst Mexican food we had ever had. Horrible!!!! We should have known better when there was nobody else in there. The ambience was undesirable. It was a strange setup and the music was so loud that we couldn't even talk to each other. The benches were ripped and barren in areas and the table was crusty. The water cups looked like they should have been thrown out years ago and were all scuffed up on the rims. The waitress gave the impression that she didn't want to be there and we didn't see her smile once. We all ordered water to start with and she carried at least one of the waters under her arm with her arm holding it under her armpit next to her body. The chips were so stale that they bent. The salsa ( if that's what they want to call it) was basically slightly thickened tomato juice. Eventually everyone had gotten their food after waiting about 5 minutes in between each person. For starters nobody had hot food and it was all very lukewarm to almost cold. The pico de gallo lettuce mix that everyone gets on their plate was old and had a raunchy taste to it so nobody ate theirs. My dinner was supposed to be deep fried and wasn't. It had ground beef in it but also contained chunks of grisly and fatty type textures. The only thing everyone agreed on is that the beans had a very slight flavor. We all ordered different things and we decided that water has more flavor than any of the "food". We choked down a few bites and took the majority in to go boxes for a friend to give to his garbage eater outside animals! To top it off we all had queasy stomachs through the next day. It was either the food or the gross out factor of everything! I'm guessing that their steep prices are due to lack of business so they need to make up for it. I saw other reviews on here going back a few years even with similar issues so one would think that the owners would change for the better. I'm sure that the only good reviews came from friends, family and locals who won't tell the truth. I can't express enough how absolutely disgusting this place was! Ate here today with friends. Was surprised about their offer of margaritas and beer. Had a Mango Margarita with Chamoy and Tajin on the rim. It was a excellent!!! The food was delivered quickly. The waitstaff was excellent. Very helpful with descriptions of menu items. I had the three cheese enchiladas with green and cheese sauce. They both were excellent but the green sauce was fantastic. It's hard to find a good green sauce in NWA. I will definitely be back to try more food and drinks read more

This review is based on 1 visit in which I only ate breakfast. I just left Tequila Grill after devouring my ham/egg/cheese burrito, it was very good and I will definitely be back! I just moved back from Texas and have been craving a breakfast taco, and while not the same, it absolutely hit the spot. 5 stars, can't wait to try lunch/dinner. That being said, the burrito was super messy, I only got 1/3 through before I had to start using a fork. It was dripping what tasted like butter, which softened the tortilla so much that it was just useless trying to eat by hand. I was also a bit confused on the total, I was expecting to pay ~$5.50 and ended up paying ~$8.50. I should have asked, but assured I would have a receipt in the bag. I'm assuming prices have gone up and the menu just hasn't been updated, but I'll be sure to ask next time. read more

We finally ate here last night and I have to say I was very surprised. The food was very good and fresh. My husband had the cheeseburger which the waitress said was very good and he said it was a great burger. I had the enchiladas and they were fantastic. Our waitress was very nice as well. the food has no flavor. the chips are stale. the salsa is basically pizza sauce with lots of pepper in it. its awful. the service is hit or miss. the design of the restaurant is odd. its most definitely just open because locals dont want to drive into fayetteville for something better read more

I called them back and she said it was a misunderstanding and it was done. I asked if my husband knew. She told he was coming back in. That wasn't true either. Wow, deliciosa, delicious, fresca, fresh. Their Salsa is to die for. Thick and very tasty with an explosion of fresh condiments, but not hot. But don't be fooled, I asked for something hotter and they brought me some green and red sauces that took me to the land of the Aztec Sun. So if you like it hot or mild, get ready because they have it all. And to compliment their wonderful food, the service is super fast and friendly. Loved the place. Wasn't that impressed. There was hardly anyone in there and I received mediocre service at best. They never even checked on me once after my food was served. The salsa was weirdly sweet with no kick or a hint of spice in it. The refried beans tasted like bacon and the rice was clumpy and bland. The street tacos were good, but not worth the price I paid for them. Asked for a water with lemon and was told they were out of lemons. In a Mexican restaurant? Come on. I had to wait for silverware and a napkin while my food sat there and got cool. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again. read more

Compared to other Mexican restaurants, Tequila Grill serves rather average quality food at decent prices. It's certainly not worth driving from out-of-town for a bite to eat, but it is a good choice for those who live nearby. The ingredients in the menu items taste rather Americanized. The flavor isn't "Tex-Mex", per se, but rather "American-flavored food attempting to be Mexican." It's not bad, but it isn't even close to being authentic Mexican food. The restaurant's signature item is the "Bomb/Devastator" burrito. Apparently, since the opening of this restaurant, this menu item has had several different names. This burrito is basically a large burrito covered in queso, fresh vegetable ingredients, and curly fries. However, due to there being several starches in this dish (fried potatoes, rice, and a flour tortilla), the starches essentially destroy any flavor that the burrito could have, making the burrito taste like a big pile of grains. However, there is definitely a redeeming side of this restaurant: Tequila Grill serves horchata! If you have never heard of it, it is water flavored with sweet rice and cinnamon. Always tasty, and always a plus to find a Mexican restaurant that serves horchata. Since I'm from out of town, I cannot see myself coming back to Tequila Grill, but I can definitely see it as a feasible Mexican food choice for locals. read more

Legit as it gets for Elkins. They cater to the gringo dynamic of the area (i.e. Deer Skin throw blankets, local honey, etc at the register) but deliver as authentic as possible Mexican food as one can expect for Nowhere, AR. Highly recommended if you live in the area and need street tacos the other side of Taco Bell. A very nice surprise for Elkins. read more

This is the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Do not come here unless you are completely desperate. The cheese dip comes out of a jar and the salsa tastes like it does too. Everything is neon and we came on a Saturday night and my group and another family were the only ones there, which should have been a clue. Our em waitress was nice enough but otherwise this place is completely empty. Trust me on this one. Just drive to fayetteville. read more

I've never had worse Mexican food. They messed up both orders and two items were missing from my plate also a tamale was substituted for another taco because they didn't have tamales. Salsa was sweet and gross. Cheese dip was ok. read more

The place looks unassuming but the food was delicious. You can tell that it's a mom and pop type restaurant which adds to the charm.

Always love coming here during my kids ball games. We make it a point to stop there to eat. Love the street tacos with the chorizo. Very family friendly restaurant with good food. Service has always been great for us and food is even better. We actually have made a special trip there many times just for their street tacos. It's our favorite if you couldn't tell. read more

If there were less stars, we'd give it that. Steal a can of beans somewhere before you eat here. The salsa was thinner than water and tasted funny(not in a good way) and the chips were stale. Chicken fajitas, chicken was chopped and formed, and cooked to a spongy texture. Not to mention it was injected with so much garlic powder they were hard to swallow. The only "real" food on the plate was the peppers and onions. His tamales came straight out of the freezer case of Walmart and had no sauce. Wouldn't feed that to the dogs. Don't eat here. read more
