I ate all the wings and realized I forgot to take a picture...

I have been here once before, but that was quite some time ago. I have limited vision. It was very dark inside. I had to walk up the stairs very carefully in order to stay on my feet without falling. I made it upstairs and sat at the bar. My overall service from my waiter was mediocre at best. I was charged for eating chips and salsa. I wouldn't have ordered them if he had bothered to let me know. He didn't know that chicken wings were on the menu. I had to tell him that chicken wings were on the menu. My bartender was attentive and engaged. She made an excellent strawberry margarita. She was definitely the reason that I would return and give them another shot... The chicken wings were excellent!!! They were so good that I forgot to take a picture until I had already finished eating... I also forgot to take a picture of my margarita... Believe me, it was delicious!!!

Two Ali is a mom and pop restaurant in downtown Kansas City near Children's Mercy hospital. I got to meet the owner and he told us the story of how the restaurant was named and where is inspiration comes from. The location is great if you are around the area and want a chill outing. The food was good but don't know if I would go out of my way to come all the way down from North Kansas City to grab a bit. I will say staff were friendly and they do a good job of being attentive the customers. The experience here is going to be good. If you visit definitely try to sit outside they have great views of the city

Enjoyed some yummy tacos- 2 for $5 on taco tuesday and loved the wonderful service Stephanie provided. The view from the rooftop patio, AMAZING.

I went here with a group of friends that suggested we eat here. I was not disappointed with the food or the margarita. Service was very quick throughout the night and we were really waiting on anything. Food had good portion size and can out hot. The flavors were good and there was a good balance of all ingredients. Salsa had a really good flavor and it was hard not to eat it all.

My friends and I were in town for a girls trip and had reservations at the Antler Room next door. We had one more person fly in as a surprise and the Antler room could not accommodate one extra person, but luckily Teocali saved the day!! Karen was our waitress and the service was immaculate. She went over and beyond and was so much fun! They put us on the rooftop and the GM Ed stopped by to say hello! He was so friendly and even asked if we liked the music selection! Our drinks were never empty, the food was great and I can't say enough good things about this place! Cheers to Karen and Ed!!

I can't believe I did not know about this AMAZING Mexican food till now. What a hidden Gem!!! The BEST Spicy Margarita I've probably ever had. Their guacamole was the BEST and loved their fish tacos. They have really great lunch options and happy hour. This place was fantastic and great service. I will 10000% be going back. If you love Mexican food and honestly even if you don't you will love this place

Teocali has been added to my list of top Mexican restaurants in KC to visit! The guacamole is incredibly fresh as well as with the house-made salsa. If you are fan of light chips, this is the spot to visit. Along with fresh dips, the margaritas pack a PUNCH! Teocali offers a very affordable lunch menu. If you work in the area, make sure to pop in for a tasty lunch! Top items to order: the chimichanga plate and the tamales plate. Add this spot to your KC restaurant bucket list today!

Got food delivered. The albondigas had layers of flavor! Its the best I've had thus far. This soup is not tomatoey compared to others, which I prefer. And for delivery they packed the soup very well. Highly recommend.

Not much as far as healthy food other than a couple lackluster salads however they do have a $42 entree which feeds 2-4 people with a pile of tilapia, huge beautifully grilled shrimp (fantastic flavor!), and mussels over a bed of onions. The margaritas all have Tres Agaves margarita mixer in them which is sad and not necessary especially for the skinny margarita which only lists other ingredients on the menu in it and doesn't mention the mixer which is 16 grams of sugar per ounce and about four ounces is used per "skinny" marg rendering it not a "skinny" drink at all and quite misleading for folks w sugar problems like me! Luckily the bartender remade me a marg with only the necessary triple sec, tequila, and lime juice and allowed me to not wreck my glucose too bad that evening.

The best part about this experience was being able to eat outside on their patio. The servers were very attentive and checked on us many times even though we were sitting in a corner. I HIGHLY recommend the Flautas Nortenas! They were the perfect portion size for dinner, and the homemade chipotle sauce it comes with was perfect (I asked for sour cream and didn't end up needing it because the chipotle sauce was so good). Their cocktail prices are great, and food prices are average for a Mexican restaurant in this area. The guac was very heavy in tomatoes, just FYI (I'm not a fan but my brother enjoyed it). The fajitas had plenty of sliced meat on top, enough to take home for left overs. The only reason this restaurant didn't get 5 starts was because the cheese dip and salsa was pretty basic, but not bad! I would definitely come here again!

Fantastic dinner!…read more Amazing food! I had Mole Enchilada with rice, and ordered seasonal vegetables as side. Our table also had table side guacamole and salsa and chips. That mole was amazing! I'll be back - the mole and guac makes my mouth water thinking about it. The Mole Enchilada with chicken was so delicious - deep flavor with juicy shredded chicken. The seasonal vegetables included broccolini, carrots, and asparagus - slightly crunchy, just the way I liked them cooked! I also had a La Chimosa cocktail - c a m a r e n a tequila blanco, l i m e, a g a v e, g r a p e f r u i t soda, passion fruit - pretty good. I enjoyed the ambiance - lots of beautiful art on the walls, subtle lighting, green plants, tasteful decorations, table lines, and relaxed atmosphere. We were there on a Monday night - it wasn't busy. It was a great place to go for our business group of five. Servers were friendly, especially the woman at the front as you entered. We had a nice chat while I waited for the rest of our table to arrive. They validated parking in the garage next door - so keep that in mind if street parking is unavailable. Pricing was what I would expect for this nice location. It was $$ to $$$ depending on what you ordered. I would definitely go back and recommend!

After the host "checked," he suddenly found a table and seated us, but his attitude felt dismissive and unwelcoming from the start. We began with chips and salsa, which were actually very good. We also ordered two café de olla lattes along with chilaquiles and the chorizo Benedict. Our drinks never arrived, and when our food was brought out, our server Santiago noticed and went to check. I asked him to cancel one latte and just bring the other, but it still took another 10 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, the cup was chipped, making it unsafe to drink from. The food itself was underwhelming--the eggs on the Benedict were overcooked instead of runny as they should be. On top of that, Santiago only checked on us once, and that was just to drop off the check. Overall, the service felt inattentive and the experience didn't match expectations. We left unsatisfied and likely won't be returning.

I just took a swing at it, picked up a menu, and stood there. It took a while for somebody to acknowledge that I was there. The person who took my order was super involved, which is cool, but they needed some help, and the person who came by to help them seemed to be rather impatient, so that was one of the first things I noticed. They do bring your food out in a reasonable amount of time, delivered to your table. You have a number that attaches to a metal wand that they give to you. So the water station is set up in the back, you get your own water, but they were out of cups. They had a really cool aesthetic to it, with like the garage door where you can see all the downtown. The only problem was that the sun went down, and it started to get rather cold. Nobody ever closed the door, but I ordered the Asada fries. 3/5 heavy on the seasoning, but not so much on the flavor, it came across. It's kind of salty. I thought it would be different than what it was. The portion size was fine, and the green sauce that they offer you on the side really makes it better. Also ordered the CHORI queso dip lied on the chorizo for the portion size. The flavor was also a three out of five. The chip that they give you with it has a nice, good texture and reasonable seasoning. My wife had the mushroom Tinga tacos. She gave him four out of five. She really enjoyed them. The atmosphere is cool. The weights staff are really cool. I'd consider coming back on a Thursday. They have this cool thing that you can try new and upcoming dishes, and then they also have brunch, so I'm thinking about giving them a second shot. If you've never been, you should come and see what your opinion is, but really cool aesthetics and great views.

Food: The food was good and had flavor, the presentation and portions were not bad. The starters were small so be sure to order multiples for larger groups. The fresh oysters were really good, the paella was really good and large in portion size great table shareable or as a entree. The cheese board had a really good variety of cheeses and crackers with some fruit. That was a nice little gem on the menu. They do serve alcohol but could be a little more consistency on the pours. Two of the same drinks tasted completely different and they do have a wine section. Service: The staff was nice and quickly provided seating for our large group of 10 people. Our waiter was great! He took orders checked on us and provided some really good feedback on menu items when asked. Thank you, Atmosphere: I love the decor! It was rustic with hand pai ted murals and gave a artistic vibe to our experience. However, I was not a fan of the metal tables, it felt to industrial and the tables were off balance as well. The size of the table were also interacting as they seemed really skinny and most likely ment for smaller groups like 2 people. The ceiling at La Bodega was the best part of the decor. It was such a great twist on smearing colors together. Price: Coming from Los Anegeles I thought the prices were right on targetand fit with the portion sizes. Location: It's located in Kansas City Mousori. Parking: We ubered to the restaurant but parking did look to be tight on the street side not sure if they have another lot in the back.
