It also very much compliments 'The Junction' nightclub which was stuck out on its own before this was built, but now it is perfectly situated next to the bars and restaurants. It also features an LA fitness gym, which is well equipped and also has a lovely swimming pool, and also a decent cinema which isn't too crowded like the 'Vue' in town. A shame that the video shop has closed down, but I suppose that's the credit crunch!

The play equipment is not very well supervised, so you need to keep an eye on what's going on. There's a cafe which serves good meals and watery coffee which you can consume while the kids play. Never very many staff about but you don't really need them you can control everything from the computerised board at your station. Ideal for kids of all ages they have rails for the lane that you can choose to have up for younger bowlers and they have a ramp thing to help the really young send the ball down. Amazing how good getting a strike feels even if playing against 8 year olds (especially as they usually win) its hard not to have fun. They have a bar and food probably best avoided. Clean and tidy it all works rather well. Always offers on so check their website. You will often find us here on teacher training days when the place is empty.

It's fun and relaxing and can also be very funny at times for those of you that aren not that great at bowling! The staff are all quite helpful and friendly for the rare times that the bowling ball gets stuck in the end bit with the pins, they will get it out and you are back to bowling within 5 minutes. You may even get a free game. As for prices, it is very very cheap. You can book a whole party for a teenager for just 10 pounds, it used to be so much more expensive! Well worth going here for a fun day or night out!

The Kingpin Suite provides exactly that and I had such a great night here. I hired the venue for a work event so we had sole use for the evening but on most nights it is open to the public (you will need to book ahead). The food was great and very American style with mini burgers, hot dogs, pizzas and canapes. The bowling lanes are great fun and the karaoke room is sound proof meaning that it does not disturb the live music in the main room. The karaoke system is also of a high quality and has the largest collection of songs I have ever seen! There is also a hot tub which seems like a bit of an unusual addition - I didn't try that one out! The bar staff are friendly and at around £3.50 for a glass of wine the prices are reasonable. The venue is actually very difficult to find however as is also located in the same building as the Bloomsbury Lanes so it can get quite confusing when trying to locate the place. Kelly dealt with my booking and was fantastic - she made the day run as smoothly as possible and everyone had a great time. This would make a great venue for a Christmas Party.
