First let me say I have a friend who owns a hotel so I know how they work and my review below is…read morejust my opinion. I checked in as a walk in as I was driving from Ohio to Florida and just needed a break as I was getting a headache and starting to get tired. The from desk person was very polite and took great care of me. I got to my room unpacked things for the shower in the morning and got my clothes out. Turned on the A/C to a sleep able 68 degrees and climbed into bed. About 1-2am the A/C started to make horrible noise. Sadly my head was not better so instead of me going down to change rooms I just turned off the A/C. I woke up around 5am getting warm as expected. Sadly still had a headache so I took some meds got up to shower. Here is the only real complaint: the shower drain did not seem to work at all. As I took my shower the water just kept going. I got dressed and packed. Went down put my stuff in my car, walked back in to grab breakfast, now I normally do not eat at hotels. But I didn't want to stop anywhere else as I just filled up with gas right below the hotel. I got a biscuit, sausage, and some eggs and made a sandwich. I will say the biscuits were not hard, they were perfect, the sausage was not over cooked, the eggs were Powdered but not bad. To top it off the coffee was good. I mean not amazing but good. I have had a lot worse at hotels and I took a cup with me for the drive. I did tell the front desk about the room and they put it on the list to fix as well as tell me I should have came down to change rooms. Which I knew and told them so, but I also knew I just needed to sleep so for the A/C I take the blame. The drain should have been found in my opinion. I gave the 4 stars because I feel most were not on them and the place is very clean. The drain is my only real complaint. I would stay here again.

Ok stay. Good for one night and you're able to take your dog for a reasonable extra fee…read more Room was clean, but not the best sleep due to hard bed and extremely thin walls. Dog barked in room next door for over an hour. Breakfast - free, but not very good. The girl who checked us in in the evening was a bit rude. Not sure why, but she was definitely having a bad day. Sorry to be so negative, but it's what we experienced.

We have stayed at several different…read moreHilton properties in the Cedar Bluff area, Turkey Creek, etc., but this Hampton Inn in Lenoir City exceeds them all by leaps and bounds. Here are a just a few things I love about this property: -the staff is always friendly and courteous -super clean all around; the lobby, hallways and rooms. Our room is always clean and and the cleaning staff is very personable by leaving nice notes and providing their name -large rooms with multiple outlets, charging stations, multiple hooks in bathroom for hanging toiletry bag, towels, etc -although a bit of a drive from downtown Knoxville, this location has a Cracker Barrel and an Aubrey's within walking distance -night light in bathroom -comfortable bed -good sized closet with plenty of hangers - complimentary treats in the lobby (fresh baked cookies, hot chocolate bar) This hotel is great and highly recommended!

I wouldn't recommend this place at all or ever. All we needed was a place to plug an extension chord to charge our batteries on the boats and after night number one with zero issues this happened on night number two. I was here with my friends from Ohio just in case they want to say I didn't stay here. The employee took it upon himself to unplug the chord and was rolling it up. I guess he was going to put it on the boat but our equipment is isn't cheap and we would rather have unplugged it and took care of the issue.

Not that it's awful or anywhere close; it's just in need of management that sweats the details. The toilet ran the entire duration of our 3-night stay. There is no way housekeeping could not have been aware of it, so you must conclude that they don't care. Same for the ripped shower curtain. Be aware that this hotel is on the wrong side of Knoxville for doing any of the Pigeon Forge activities like Dollywood, so factor that into your planning!

Between doors slamming and literally rattling the bed and kids running up and down the above our room, sleep was hard to come by. The shower was good and hot for about five minutes and then went ice cold out of nowhere and never got hot again. We came back to the room one night to find the floor by the elevator wet and sticky, told the front desk about it and the next morning it was still there and now reeked. From the empty 12 pack laying in next to the garbage can ,and the smell ,it was a beer mess. When we left I needed ice for our cooler, the only ice machine that worked was on the third floor, after going to all the other floors. There are a lot of other options in the area but I have always been happy with holiday inns, going to have to rethink my choices in the future.
