They used to be customer friendly. In past 2 years, have been going downhill. ALWAYS, ALWAYS when you call 1800 number...no matter what time you call, the recording says that it is a time where "higher than the ordinary amount of calls is coming through". Curious that the recording says this, no matter what time you call. For all the charges Regions makes on customer accounts, it would be nice if 24 hour phone support was offered. So disappointed in you Regions....

Let me start by saying that this bank is the absolute worst bank I have ever known.I actually give…read morethem 0 stars!!! The policies are so off the wall it reminds me of a daycare keeping tabs on the childrens' lunch money. You're only allowed to withdraw a small amount of money from the atm. Use of debit card is severely limited. Oh you can spend more but you have to call during business hours to ask permission to spend more of your own money! If it's a weekend so sorry....They claim it's to protect the customer....bs. it's to save them money. Their security is so shabby they get compromised all the time. Have to issue new cards change pin numbers etc. I deposit different types of checks all the time. Every time its a new policy on the hold. Or availability time.Save yourself the trouble and aggravation and go to a bank with real customer service and good reviews. This bank is ridiculous. I just closed my account...It's like being free from captivity.......

I'm 81 years old and find it difficult to ride a bus. Without a debit card I can't order Uber or ride the CAC Lift bus. I definitely can't order from Instacart. The worst part of this ordeal is not paying my bills. Netflix and Hulu have stopped my movies. Amazon has denied any items that I ordered including much needed underwear and socks. Thank God that a few quarters were in the back on one of my drawers to buy this food, er, junk. Please Home Federal, send me a new debit card. Diana Amann

Fifth Third recently aggressively promoted a Money Market account with a fixed rate for a specified…read moreperiod of time. At the conclusion of the specified time I went to the local branch to withdraw my funds. Daniel Rowe, the bank's agent who had originally opened my account assured me the promotion was being extended and not only were my funds still earning the stated 5.3% rate but any new deposits would receive that rate as well. Knowing money market accounts typically offer a variable rate of return, I closely questioned Mr. Rowe about this. He told me not only would he warrant the rate to be 5.3% but he would also call me if the rate were to decline. Over the next few weeks I contacted Mr. Rowe to verify the rate. He repeatedly assured me 5.3% and confirmed the new deposits would as well. I made several deposits based on those assurances also confirmed by another representative, Kevin. Fifth Third sends its statements out about every 90 days. The day I received mine, I contacted Mr. Rowe then drove to the bank in person. The bank had not paid the rate he repeatedly guaranteed I would receive but rather a rate less than his competitors. After untold numbers of calls and numerous in person visits to the local branch with no results I began contacting regulatory agencies and the BBB. Three months later and the local branch has yet to respond. No one has assumed responsibility. No one has corrected the error. No official apology. The main branch in Ohio at least responded to the BBB and admitted an error in the calculation of interest payment in the initial promotion and offered a modest payment for that period of time but these months later there is still no response to the repeated fraudulent misrepresentation of the rate I was being paid and would be paid on my account.
