Avoid them at all costs. This is not a mere inconvenience; it is a calculated betrayal of trust. This company embodies everything corrupt and despicable about so-called "Christian" businesses, particularly those masquerading under a false gospel in the South. They weaponize religion as a sales tactic--cowardly wolves dressed in sheep's clothing--preying on the vulnerable for personal gain. Let me be crystal clear: their pious façade is nothing more than a sham to con and exploit. During one of the most difficult chapters of my life--amidst the chaos of COVID--Benchmark Realty stole tens of thousands of dollars from me on not one, but two homes. They feigned concern, even praying alongside me, while systematically robbing me blind behind my back. Their greed and duplicity are unforgivable. To Veterans, here is a critical fact they will never disclose fully: You do NOT have to make a down payment with your VA loan. Closing costs exist but are tightly regulated by the VA, with sellers often covering most expenses through concessions capped at 4% of the loan. I personally paid over $40,000 in fees that should never have come out of my pocket--money that fattened the pockets of these corrupt "Christians," gorging themselves while preying on those they claim to serve. A word to the wise: If a company flaunts only high reviews and those reviews are suspiciously few, that's a red flag--they likely manipulate or control their feedback to hide the rot beneath. Benchmark Realty is a cesspool of corruption, deception, and outright theft. Their branch managers and agents operate with impunity, and their business practices should be condemned without hesitation. Do your research. Protect your hard-earned money and your peace of mind. Stay far away from this reprehensible operation. This is not a request; it is a command: let the truth be known and may no one else fall victim to their calculated treachery.
