I do believe some people live here and some are rental properties. They are spaced out well for privacy and have private drives and parking areas for each cottage. It is near The Caverns and some other cave and mountain attractions. There is a rope course nearby, and lots of hiking opportunities are abound as well. Our little place was clean, well kept, had all the amenities we needed, and was well decorated. Warning. NO COFFEE NEARBY!!! Get you some before you arrive. I keep K pods in the luggage but this had a regular coffee maker with like actual paper filters and stuff. We were only there for a night, but will likely return again now that we know more about it. Beware though.... They are very small. Bunk beds and upstairs are dwarf size areas. Small kids and little people only! I am sure we will see another show at The Caverns at some point in the future. Everywhere shows 5 star reviews but they have it turned off so you can't leave a review on google. This place is a campground with tiny homes. It cannot be described as luxury or gated because the gates were open the whole time. $100 cleaning fee yet you have to wash, dry, and put away the dishes (by hand). The pots/pans were old and scraped up and some dishes dirty. I had to rewash anything before using. The house did have firewood but we were not informed that and ended up adding the $20 firewood package. Don't do this, it was 5 small pieces of wood (literally one split log) and a cheap cigarette lighter. We ended up leaving after a night. House was cute but I didn't feel very safe and the beds were uncomfortable. There's not much to do there and the area is old and run-down.

We had a great time relaxing here. Beds we're comfy, extra blankets and pillows were provided in the closets. The decorations were thought out and added a lovely touch. We had everything we needed supplied in the kitchen. The tv was a smart tv with a few apps like hulu and netflix provided! Tables and chairs outside to eat and enjoy the view. Hot was excellent, very clean and relatively easy to use. Just need to get it going to heat up before you get in. There's a walk out basement that looks like it's going to be worked on next. It had a nice circle drive with gravel parking. Has a cute deli/local shop in the corner of the road you drive in. I highly recommend! University of the South isn't far and has good mountain overlooks. Not a lot to do in the area, but has some restaurants and a piggly wiggly. This is a place to go and relax and get away for sure!

With permission of the owners/management we post... Rock…read moreHaven Lodge was the first stop on our 10-week, 10,000-mile road trip adventure to the Pacific Northwest to visit nudist resorts and attend Karins high school reunion in Idaho. It is a nudist resort, not clothing-optional. We loved the way they made posting the rules sort of fun through clever & funny signs everywhere. Everyone seemed to respect the rules. We noticed immediately how clean, quaint, and well-kept the resort was! It's obvious the residents/members there take great pride in decorating and maintaining their lots. There were "yard of the year" award plaques at many of them. One deck was shaped & decorated like an old wooden ship; others had themed frog or fairy gardens. Lots of them had decorative lights. We enjoyed nightly walks there. The owner (Suzie) was super helpful and welcoming. Everyone we met was too. That's what we love the most and have come to always appreciate about the nudist community! After arriving close to dusk and setting up our campsite, a gathering of campers nearby invited us over for steak & potatoes left over from their pitch-in. We were tired from 10 hours on the road, so we thankfully enjoyed the meal while getting to hear the fun adventures they were all on. The common areas were large & open. There were two large covered pavilions for gatherings - one had a kitchen/grill at the end that sells food on the weekends. The other doubles as a remote control car racetrack (very unique) and a dance area. Then there is a separate indoor rec hall with a big rock fireplace, a small gym, a bathhouse, and a little "country store" where you can buy ice cream, snacks, and basic toiletries. Throughout the common ground areas, a kid-sized train track winds through, probably delighting kids and adults alike when running (which it wasn't while we were there). This is a great place during the week for those who like a quieter resort visit, but we heard it gets busier on the weekends. There were lists of regular & special activities posted so you could be as social as you want to be, or not. We enjoyed the great sand volleyball courts, which included a covered area with fans, chairs, tables & a water fountain! There were pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts, and a small playground. The pool & hot tub were small but clean. The pool isn't heated but refreshing when it gets really hot. The campground where we stayed had picnic tables and electricity convenient at most sites. We tested out our new SUV tent, and it worked well. The tent attaches to the open back hatch so we sleep in the back of the SUV on a special mattress made to fit around the wheel wells. Packing for 10 weeks was quite a task, but we got it all figured out. We took a trip to the local downtown of Murfreesboro for dinner and enjoyed seeing a small town. We ate at a great local restaurant called The Alley. We are so glad we stopped here first on our trip as it was a lovely relaxing start to our summer journey.
