If you are ever in the neighbourhood, this place is worth stopping by!
This is a small salmon hatchery dedicated to conservation. It is organized where you can go on self-guided tours. There are lots of educational information and signage everywhere.
This is a working facility with friendly and knowledgeable workers. They know the all the different types of salmons and the time to see them (chinook, coho, chum etc).
What's great is you do get to see salmon and the whole process of what they do. If your lucky, you can see the staff perform an egg take!
What's great is that there is free parking and the self-guided tour is free too! read more
