We were looking for a small bite to eat so stopped here and tried the grilled tenders with lemon and spices , the tenders were flavorful and not over cooked . $12 for 3 tenders is a little pricey I wish they had come with a dipping sauce .

Checking in late at the Rio hotel has its limits for food options. Especially as it's my first time visiting Las Vegas and I'm not sure if I want to go out just yet after a long day of travel and trying to settle in. Going through the hotel website I saw they have Tender crush open late inside the building, food little more expensive then where I'm coming from but ended up being similar price as other establishments in the area. Not knowing what I was getting myself into, I leave my room and go down looking for Tender Crush. I get a good view of the casino in the hotel as I need to pass by it all to get to the food cantina part of the room. Game sounds playing, light cigarette smoke in the air but it's mostly filtered out, tender crush is busy with a line of customers and a small team of staff trying to make orders. Id recommend ordering online late at night since it's the only place open and busy because of that. But if you are okay to wait and want to pay there, that is okay too. The people were nice and trying their best but it was a long wait The tenders were pricey for 3 pieces but they were big in size. They theme their chicken sauce flavors after NYC flavors. Being from the NYC metro area, I saw the Jackson heights chicken on the menu and had to try it... It did not remind me of Jackson heights at all... However that doesn't mean it wasn't good. The chicken was crispy outside, pull apart soft inside, and the sauce was flavorful with a spicy kick. I just didn't understand why it was named the way it was, but as a menu item it was very good. If it's the only place open, you won't be disappointed. Service is slow but that might be just demand resulting from a dozen other establishments in the building being closed. In the time I waited for everything, I think I could have just ordered food from a delivery app or just ordered advance to save the headache

Late night looking for something to eat after a comedy show and Tender Crush came up. They did not disappoint. We couldn't decide what to get so we got the Brooklyn BBQ, K town Hot and the 3 crispy tenders with lime honey mustard. Had to have the waffle fries and the coconut mango slush cooler. Needless to say it did cost a pretty penny but super yummy!! The K Town Hot was my Fav. The Brooklyn BBQ was his fav He dipped the fries in the Honey Mustard, I would have preferred BBQ as a dipper - really we didn't need the fries because we didn't finish them but it was good to try them. Just basic waffle fries, nothing special other than the sauce. The K Town Hot wasnt super hot but I do like spicy. Had a little spice but not a ton but the flavor was great. Chicken itself was moist and the batter wasnt super crunchy but it was perfect. The coconut mango slush was a great compliment to the meal. Do not sleep on the Rio and this restaurant! Its way in the back but worth the trip!!

Thai Queens ($13.00): sweet chili sauce, scallions, cilantro, lime wedge

I could crush some more of those tenders right now. That's mostly a good thing. Tender Crush is the member of the Canteen Food Hall of the Rio Hotel and Casino with the cushy outer corner spot. I often order takeout from the food hall, but I finally had some time to sit down and eat fresh chicken tenders here today. I tried the Thai Queens ($13.00), one of the milder options. The chicken was roughly standard size and breading, and it did come out crispy. They basically poured a bunch of sweet chili sauce over it, leaving the tails safe to pick up by hand, and resulting in a pool of sauce on the bottom of the tray which is plenty enough to dip. The fresh cilantro and scallions were a nice touch, and the lime wedge actually provided some really nice freshness. (Pro tip: squeeze about half of it into a free cup of water for a fun beverage.) I will say that the portion of three tenders was not quite enough on its own for lunch. A fourth would have been great. I didn't order sides or desserts either. I guess I could've picked up a Brew Tea Bar boba drink from the new vending machine nearby. The seating area today happened to be very sparse, but I've seen it packed when a convention or other event is being hosted here. The service at the counter was solid enough; I placed my order at one of the kiosks in case of any customizations I might be able to make (for the tenders, it's just asking to omit ingredients) and so that I can make sure to use the right Rio Rewards promos or points. Tender Crush is a safe but fun option from the six-headed beast that is the Canteen Food Hall at the Rio. I'd love to try more of their sauces and maybe some sides.

Jackson Heights Heat Chicken Tenders and Waffle Fries

I had 2 $10 food vouchers , so I decided to give them a try. Like many people I'm a chicken tender fan. I got the Jackson Heights Hot Chicken Tenders , Waffle Fries , and a Mello Yellow Soda. The chicken fingers were decent size , but I read another review that the owners had told them to cut the size and they used to be larger. You get 3 chicken tenders which I would think for $13 you should get 4. The Seasoned Waffle Fries were $6 , and the Soda was $6 for a fountain drink , really. JACKSON HEIGHTS HEAT CHICKEN TENERS - BIRD PEPPER, CHIVES, KOSHER PICKLES WITH ZESTY WHITE BBQ They were pretty good with lots of sauce and it did have a nice kick if you're like me and like it hot , but not too hot. They weren't very crispy which is more like I like them also , I like to taste the chicken not just hard breading. The pickles tasted fresh and are kosher slices. SEASONED WILLIAMSBURG WAFFLE FRIES $6 I was disappointed in these. I love the waffle fries at Carl's Jr because they taste like fries and are crispy and potatoey. These were hard and had no flavor except for the seasoning they added to them. They tasted like cheap bad frozen ones from the grocery store. FOUNTAIN SODA They have a Coca Cola Freestyle Soda Machine in the Food Court that you can pick so many combinations of soda to make to your taste or try out. 165 different combinations according to Wikipedia. It's just crazy to charge $6 for it though. All in all I would like to try some of the other chicken tenders with food vouchers of course since it is rather pricey. I would like to try the soft serve custard also. I saw a picture of a cup with blueberries on it that looked good. I would just get the tenders to take home and get fries somewhere else or maybe have with a pizza. I would go here again before going to Tony Luke's , that was bad.

House Hits /Thai Queen $13

As i got to meet up with my friend who is staying at Rio, we just happened to visit there! But that was the right choice!! I ordered House Hits / Thai queen and It was delicious!! good blance of Sweet , sour, and Spicy!! It's inside Canteen Food court. So there was plenty of seats. And casual attire. They have a QR code Sign. leading to Online Payment. it's easy enough. If you want, there was a choice to link with the hotel room, if you're staying at the hotel. I'd love to come back!

Worst meal ever! DO NOT TRY! We spent close to $50 for less than mediocre chicken! It's $2.00 a piece for sauce. Definitely needed it! We were crushed our chicken was dry, chewy, and tasteless! Not tender whatsoever. Our chicken was allegedly marinated in lemon & spices then grilled. No hint of lemon or seasoning. It was overcooked. Nothing tasted fresh. Bleccchhh! However, the staff were very friendly. Huge disappointment in the Canteen Food Hall at the Rio Hotel.

I had a FREE food credit to redeem from Rio from using my player's card so my friend & I stopped in here the other night for me to use mine & him to use his. I eat lots of chicken and this place caught my eye so I decided to eat here when I saw that they had a fried chicken sandwich on their menu. You place your food order on a kiosk which was very easy to do & its set up to use your player card food credits too. I went with just a fried chicken sandwich & it didn't take long to get. I was offered a bag but declined because I was headed to the seating area to eat it right then. Presentation was nice but it was 3 chicken fingers on a bun. I found that the chicken was dry so thank God they had mayo & I like mayo because I had to add lots to help moisten my chicken up. I would have loved some honey mustard sauce to put on my sandwich but didn't see any at the condiment/soda station or on the kiosk menu. 5 STARS: Ease of ordering Presentation Friendly staff Quick service 3 STARS: For the dry chicken sandwich For serving chicken fingers & calling it a chicken sandwich vs a breast

Pick up area, can order in person or kiosk

This place is such a hidden gem in Rio Casino! The staff is very helpful and the tenders have a crispy exterior and juicy on the inside. Lots of seating area surrounding the restaurant. Best ranch I've had in my life, made in house.

Located inside of the Rio hotel, the food court area. You can order via the kiosk. It's quite awkward when people are waiting behind you when you need to put your name on the big old screen tho. The chicken burger I had was a bit spicy but I like it personally. The crunchiness of it was no joke. The kale dish here is really nice, a very healthy option instead of going with the usual fries. The vinaigrette seasoning was on point. My friends and I liked it a lot. The server was very friendly and sweet, kept telling me my order is coming up. I spent $20 in total for the kale and the burger. More like a fast food atmosphere here.

Great value priced eatery when staying at the Rio. If you're staying at the Rio, you can charge it to your room. Located in the Canteen, there are a decent amount of tables. Ordering is done via posted QR code. So there's very little interaction with servers except for picking up your order. Text confirmation of your order and order number is convenient. You get a text when your order is ready. So instead of having to stand around to wait for your order, you can take a seat or go play a couple of rounds of slots or tables. It's a bit of a wait. My assumption is that everything is made to order. There is only one gluten free option, the 3 grilled tenders for $10. They were decent sized, moist, and tender but not as lemon and other spices flavored as expected. But I would eat here and order the grilled tenders again.

Crispy chicken tenders, naked.

Chicken tenders are significant in size. They are legit full size actual tenders like you'd buy at the store. None of that McDonald's style nonsense where they cut them in half or thirds lol. They were also very juicy and tender inside. Not dry at all. Its 3 for $12 as of Dec 2025. The waffle fries were just ok. By the time I ate them about a half hour later in my room they tasted kinda chewy and stale. No crispness. Seasoning was nice on the regular ones though. Due to the texture i probably wouldnt get them and wait to eat them again. They are only $6 per order. I tried the ranch, BBQ, and Korean BBQ sauces. The Korean was my least favorite despite loving Korean food. Just too heavy on sesame oil and onion flavor. Not much actual BBQ taste. Other two sauces are the way to go if you dont want anything spicy. The ranch is super good, nice dill flavor. The regular BBQ was sweet and smokey. Overall this place was very affordable compared to most of the casinos on the strip that are open late night. If this place was at Caesars or MGM it would hsve been like double the price and worse quality. So it was surprising to see sonething more cost effective at the Rio. It was the only thing open super late night on Christmas day inside the casino as well. Sadly they were out of stock on the chicken sandwiches so did not get to try.

Tender Crush inside the newly renovated Rio Hotel & Casino.

Visited the newly renovated Rio Hotel & Casino Canteen Food Hall and came across Tender Crush. Great food menu options with different items and different spice levels. Great customer service by Tytyianna. She went over the menu and their spice levels as well as what most food items Tender Crush is known for. We ordered Crispy Chicken Sandwich Old School NY Crush with lettuce, tomato, kosher pickles, mayo and vinegar. The House Hits Jackson Heights Heat with bird pepper, chives, kosher pickles and zesty white barbecue sauce along with some Williamsburg Waffle Fries (seasoned) and yummy dessert called Boardwalk Donuts with blueberry, lemon and warm custard. So good! The dessert was not too sweet as the blueberry balanced out the zesty lemon taste with the warm custard. The chicken sandwiches were also good. Crispy and fresh chicken breast. The flavoring was just right. Jackson Heights Heat's level of spice was perfect as the kosher pickles balanced out the spice. Williamsburg Waffle Fries were seasoned and crisp to perfection. Tender Crush is definitely a spot we will visit again when in Las Vegas as we would like to try other food items on their menu.

Great size, great quality, delicious sauce. As far as vegas prices go, this was one of the more reasonable experiences we've had.

OVERALL : Was craving some chicken tenders / hot fried…read morechicken while in Vegas and decided to stop by this spot after hearing that it was a well known spot in a couple other states (TN, AL, GA, IL, and TX). They are located in the Cosmopolitan food hall serving up nashville fried chicken, sides, and some boozy drinks. There's seating shared with the rest of the places in the food hall, and you order at the counter then self-seat. Service was fast and friendly. This is a super casual no-frills spot and food came out quick. Big portions (3 tender meal was enough to share between 2) and tasty drinks! Pricing was a bit less than what I saw from other chicken tender meals at other food courts. PARKING : N/A -- we walked here since we were staying on the Strip and ended up at the Cosmo FOOD/DRINKS : Tenders - 3 big tenders served with 1 side and 1 sauce + slice of white bread - We got mid spicy but they had several other spice levels. The tenders were BIG and shareable, but not the juiciest and got a tad salty after eating for a while. Comeback sauce was really good to pair with everything though! For the side, we chose Pimento Mac and Cheese. So creamy and cheesy with good pimento flavor! A la Carte Side - We got some fries on the side and it was the best decision! The fries were thick cut, SO well seasoned, and stayed crisp despite sitting for a while as we ate. Big portion too! Peach Vodka Sweet Tea Slush - Had to get a boozy slush since we were in Vegas! This def had the peach vodka flavor front and center -- a fun and tasty drink!

The cashier had attitude…read morefrom the jump, clearly bothered that I asked about spice levels and didn't tip on a to-go fast food order. ( this new tipping in fast food is ridiculous) Eye roll included. Not a great start. Yes, the chicken came out hot that's the one thing it got right. But the breading is nowhere close to real Southern fried chicken. It's heavy, OVERLY greasy, and misses the mark completely. The ranch tasted bottled, the sweet tea wasn't fresh (straight dispenser vibes), and the peach cobbler had zero flavor only saved by the vanilla ice cream. It smells amazing walking up, but don't fall for it. $31 for a greasy, underwhelming meal with attitude on the side? Hard pass. Wouldn't come back or recommend. * it just leaves me thinking, of all the amazing Mom and pop spots in the small southern towns that I call home. I know a handful of restaurants that could absolutely flourish if given the chance in a location such as the cosmopolitan.

I've heard of and have gone to many of the Flowing Tide locations in Northern Nevada, mostly Reno,…read moreso I decided to come here to this location with a work friend for lunch. We both had fish and chips on our brains, and I know Flowing Tide in the north has yummy fish and chips, so I was hoping this Vegas location would too. The menus for all the locations in both Northern and Southern Nevada are posted online. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. The order comes with 4 nice pieces of crispy deep fried fish, along with malt vinegar of course. The fish was super hot and tasty seasoned at the table with salt and malt vinegar. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! If I'm down here in Vegas again, I'll have to give some of these more upscale items a try, unless Flowing Tide decides to bring them to Reno locations.

This place is decent when it's not packed with smoke. Like football games, forget it…read more I like to frequent on taco Tuesday! I've tried all the tacos and they're good! Very yummy!!! The toffee cake is to die for!!! Good service, good food. Check it out!
