Every morning when we walk in, my daughter is greeted with so much love from Miss Emily. They even talk about Miss Emily's four cats, which always brings a smile to my daughter's face and makes her feel so comfortable and connected. Throughout the day, Mrs. Chelsie often stops by her classroom to visit, take pictures, and share updates with me, which means so much. As a single mom and a natural worrier, having that consistent communication gives me such peace of mind. I genuinely have no worries when my daughter is at Stepping Stone. They truly treat us like family with daily updates, check-ins, and even phone calls when my daughter misses a day to make sure everything is okay. At Stepping Stone, my child is never forgotten and is always well cared for by every teacher she encounters. Mrs. Melissa has also left a lasting impression on my baby girl. They have no curriculum for the kids and they would be like zombies with the damn tv on ALL day! my sons grandmother picked him up and sent me a picture of my sons eye and she was told it was a fish allergy. They never contacted me nor anyone else on the emergency contact list. I called furious and they had no report or explanation. Nobody knew what happened, the next morning was when my son woke up with a bruise and a swollen eye, I immediately unenrolled him and went up there so they can see for themselves, still no explanation. I told Mrs.Perri I would report them to cps and she begged that I don't because she would get to the bottom of it. Till this day I have yet to know, weather it was negligence or someone hit my son. I highly recommend that you please go find a better daycare. They are always accepting children but it is because all they care about is money. The children to teacher ration is by law and they don't follow it. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. None of the teachers here understand English nor speak it well, save your time and money and suffering and take your Buisness else where. I have so much to say but for the sake of this review length I won't add everything. UPDATE: the "business owner" should not put my personal information due to HERPA law! And no one contacted me! Once you step inside, you'll see the environment is beautiful, welcoming, and clearly designed with children in mind. One of its advantages is that children aren't confined to the same classroom all day. They have access to different spaces where they can explore, play, and learn, and they also spend time with children of different ages, which helps them develop socially. The teachers are exceptional (shout out to Miss Olga, Miss B, Mis Cha Cha, Miss Renee, Mis Naiely...). Every day they come up with thoughtful, creative activities that make learning fun and keep the children engaged. You can tell how much time, dedication, and love goes into everything they do. Our son started here without speaking a single word of English. Thanks to the patience, kindness, and encouragement of his teachers, he not only learned the language but also felt safe, happy, and at home from day one. He was genuinely excited to go to school every morning, and as parents, that's the greatest recommendation we can give. Now he is really sad to go. I know how much Ms. Laura and the teachers love my daughter, and my daughter loves them, too. They go above and beyond to make CHMS a special place to learn and have fun. I'm so grateful that I found CHMS, because my daughter absolutely thrived there and was more than prepared for entry into kinder. I love our CHMS family!
