They Refused To Refund Charges to my Credit-Card Account.
Good day to you and your staff, unfortunately, this is a complaint about my account. I am writing this letter requesting the refund of my hard-earned $500.00 to my credit card that was charged, and I did not receive the service that was signed on behalf of my two (2) daughters.
I am a 100% Disabled Veteran of the United States military and I knew that some companies in our country have no morals, ethics, decency, or honesty when dealing with veterans especially when they think that they can deceived, outsmart, and put an imaginary gun to your (their) heads and take their hard earned money.
On January 28, 2019, at about 5:03 P.M. I received a telephone call from (856) 413-3027 "Tenbrook Orthodontics," on my cellphone and the call lasted for exactly 10 min 56 secs as per the cell phone records. I gave the customer service representative my insurance information and other personal information for myself and my two daughters. The conversation was amiable and the customer service I felt comfortable with the service.
On February 7th, 2019 my children were seen by the Orthodontic at their office, and they did their assessment and then threw out their numbers for the treatment for both children to commence their treatment by fitting them with new braces. We'd agree via the phone the amount that they charge to do the work on their teeth, and I did not dispute the charges. However, for TENBROOK ORTHODONTICS to start the treatment plan of installing the new (their) braces in my children mouth, there was a specific thing that I need to do. First, I am required to make a down payment of $250 each on February, 7,2019 to secure their place and start the treatment the following Saturday, February 9th, 2019. I'd authorized the charges of $500.00 as the down payment to start the procedure. The contract was sent to me for my signature, and I am to return it to them for the sealing the commitment to make it a legal agreement between myself and them.
Later that day, I learned certain things, and I decided not to follow through with the treatment plan of "TENBROOK ORTHODONTICS."
On February 8th, 2019 at about 9:16 A.M. I made a telephone call to (877) 764-5310, from my cell phone and it rang without anyone answering the phone. My request was sent to the voice messaging system, and I left a message informing them that I won't be able to sign the contract and for the girls to do the braces treatment with them because time is of the essence and time is against us as a military family. On February 8th, 2019 at about 9:36 A.M. I received a telephone call from (856) 413-3027 and the person left a message on my voicemail promising to debit my credit card with the $500.00 as I have to cancel the treatment plan and I did not complete the agreement. See the attached four (4) documents from "TENBROOK ORTHODONTICS," with their unsigned contract by me also the copies of the credit card receipts for the payments I had authorized for the account. On February 19th, 2019 at about 3:54 P.M. I received a call from (856) 327-4000 from TENBROOK CORPOR which lasted for 1 min 49 secs and I could not hear clearly what the other person was saying on the other end of the phone as they were making some claim about my daughter's canceling braces treatments.
I know that we lived in a capitalistic society and I don't believe in no business or anyone expects hand-outs or socialistic behavior or putting an imaginary gun to another person's head to take their money.
As a 100% Disabled Veteran, I do not have $500.00 to give to TENBROOK ORTHODONTICS or their affiliates for a service they did not perform. I expect this company to refund my credit card 100% for the charges they have filed against my account. I do not give this company permission or consent to withhold my money or to use an imaginary gun to my head to take my money. I don't like bullies or robbers; I want my money!
To date, this is my second complaint I am filing with TENBROOK ORTHODONTICS to do the right thing and refund me my money. It is going for one month. I was promised that my account would be refunded in full. When you want to rip off people, please choose your victims carefully and make sure that it is not a 100% Disabled Veteran because we are the real 1% of this country!
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANY MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY OR VETERANS OR OTHERS WHO DO NOT HAVE MONEY TO GIVE AWAY! NOT WORTH IT ALL!
Thanks for entertaining my complaint, letter, and hopefully this will resolve the matter once and for all.
