Colleen was able to capture images at just the right angles and listened to my insecurities so that she could highlight what I felt my assets are! I would recommend Colleen for ANYONE who wants a nice confidence booster! If you have never done boudoir it or if you are returning.... After the wedding Courtney got our photos back to us very quickly which was such an amazing surprise and the photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined. We are obsessed with all the photos and the way that Courtney and Joey captured so many special moments on our day. Courtney is extremely talented, professional and easy to work with and we cannot recommend her enough!!

She was truly able to capture our relationship authentically, and for that we will be forever grateful. My fiancé and I are not terribly comfortable in front of a camera, so we were nervous about our engagement session. Courtney instantly put us at ease--she's professional but also very warm, personable, flexible, and easy-going. She had really creative ways to pose us that seemed funny in the moment but resulted in gorgeous, natural-looking photos. (For instance, she kicked off the session by having us look at each other and answer the question "who is the better cook?" It got us talking and laughing!) The photos she delivered (on time, of course) were a mix of beautiful, classic-looking portraits and delightful candids of us being our goofy selves. Ahead of time, she also sent tips for what to wear, which were incredibly helpful. The session also gave us an unexpected opportunity to see Courtney's ability to improvise. We were supposed to do the shoot at a park along the Russian River, but when my fiancé and I got there early we realized that the park's closing time online did not match what was posted at the site and that the parking lot (there was no street parking) would close halfway through our session. I called Courtney and she quickly suggested that we meet in downtown Healdsburg instead and do the session walking around downtown. We appreciated her ability to think on her feet and come up with a plan that was better than the one we'd made to begin with! The Russian River location had been our idea, but downtown Healdsburg gave us such a cool variety of scenery to work with. Weddings often don't go as planned (or so I hear...) and I'm confident that Courtney would be able to handle any last-minute wedding day changes with grace and ingenuity. We would have booked her in a heartbeat for our wedding, but she's already taken! I highly, highly recommend Courtney and would jump at the chance to work with her again.

Her professionalism, experience, talent, patience, and friendly demeanor is truly a rare find, especially in photographers. We were so happy with all of our pictures! Her pictures capture a unique attention to detail with an elegant essence. We were also delighted to find that she highlighted/colored/certain photos that we would have never thought to do-and they turned out AMAZING!! Not only is Nanci a superb photographer, she is very responsive (via email/phone) and easy to talk to. She even was even willing to meet with us two days before the wedding (during June wedding season/Napa fires) for some last minute details/changes. At this time, due to the Napa fires, she was in the process of boxing up her house and awaiting evacuation instructions-and she still met with us! That shows true dedication!! We knew that finding the right photographer was important, and now realize how important it was after the event is over. Our pictures will be what we have to show our friends, family, and future children. Will cherish these memories forever! We, without a doubt, would highly recommend Nanci to anybody needing photography services! Sincerely, Sarah and Ryan Irwin

We met on the T and wanted to incorporate that moment into our pictures. The T is not the easiest place to take photos, but our engagement shots came out beautifully. Matt was able to take our general ideas and add to them with some great ones of his own. He has a lot of skill behind the camera and in the editing room. Matt's a great person to deal with, and is passionate about his work. Full disclosure--Matt is also a friend of mine--but I wouldn't recommend him so highly here if I wasn't 100% satisfied with the results. We couldn't have hoped for any better on our engagement shoot.

We just received our wedding photos from Matt, and all I can say is "WOW!!!!"…read more I found Matt after he beautifully photographed one of friend's weddings last year, and I am so glad I did. Here are the reasons why Matt is amazing: PROFESSIONAL: Matt spent a lot of time prior to our wedding discussing with us our needs and priorities. He has a lot of experience and asked us specific questions about things that we didn't even think of. FLEXIBLE to our needs: My husband and I initially wanted to do an elopement with a few close friends, but like all weddings, the guest list soon grew, and became a small wedding. Matt was extremely flexible and worked with us to make sure we fulfill our needs. Our timeline kept changing literally up until the last minute, and Matt was also very flexible and understanding of that. Goes ABOVE and BEYOND: We got married by the ocean in a state park. Matt is so amazing that he arrived almost 3-hours early at the wedding site to scope out sceneries for the photos. He even helped with the setting up process for the ceremony (e.g. helping arrange the ceremony for the best lighting)! During our wedding, he pretty much did everything, short of the risk of life (except when he did risk falling into the water :p), to capture amazing shots! At the same time, he made us forget there was a camera. Made us feel COMFORTABLE: I knew we were going to spend a lot of time with our photographer on our wedding day, and I wanted someone who can make us feel comfortable, especially since normally I get very awkward when other people take my photo. Matt is by far the most easy going, nice, and friendly photographer you will ever meet. It felt like he was like an "old friend" both my husband and I had. Even our families loved Matt! AMAZING PHOTOS: He has an eye for beautiful shots. Matt captured our wedding in a way that was so personal and so beautiful. When I sent the images out to all of our guests, friends and families, everyone was impressed on how the photos artfully, beautifully, and perfectly captured the day. We will cherish these photos for a lifetime!
