This is my third and LAST pregnancy and since I did not take maternity photos with my first 2, I wanted to have the keepsake & memories of being pregnant with my last one. Had a phone consultation with Dwayne letting him know that I wanted my 2 daughters in the photos as well. It was not explained to me at that time that a session with more than 2 people is an "Elite session" and a $2000 difference. I was willing to pay the difference as that portion goes towards photos as well. Later, I let Dwayne know that I wanted my partner to come too. At this point, he tells me about the elite session and I confirm. The day before my appointment, I get a $2000 invoice in my email and I'm thinking that's fine, that's just how much extra it is. It was unbeknownst to me that the $2000 was meant to be paid up front ON TOP of the sitting fee that I already paid, without ever meeting this person or seeing the studio. WHAT A SCAM! All that was sent to me were the emails. No attempt to call/text and clarify or anything. An hour and a half before my appointment time, I get a text saying that my appointment was cancelled because I did not confirm (I confirmed twice) and he could not hold his posing coach (his wife) and he wasn't able to fully prepare for the large group (added 1 more person after I had let him know upfront that I would have my daughters with me). I rearranged my whole family's schedule for this shoot and I was so excited and now I'm frustrated, upset, and heartbroken because I'm already further along in my pregnancy. Overall, not a good experience and very deeply disappointed.

I bought a LivingSocial offer and made an appointment for 10/30. I had no idea what to expect so I was quite nervous while driving in and then getting "lost" before calling Christina to figure out their exact location. I was at the right place, just not deep in enough to see their building which is located behind a furniture company (I think). I arrived about 20 minutes early and Christina came out to open the lobby door for me. As we made our way up the steps, she gave me the talk through of what to expect during the entire process. I brought 4 outfits and 3 pairs of heels for her to choose from. She eliminated the dress because it covered up too much skin for a boudoir session. She worked on my hair and make up. I usually don't wear any make up so I was a little surprised to see how different I looked with make up on, not that she did a bad job on it either. Just a little heavier/darker than what I'm accustomed to. She did a nice job on curling my hair too! During the entire session, I was very self conscious, but Christina made me feel comfortable by making small talks and cracking a few jokes. She and Dwayne definitely make a great team. The entire shoot took about 2 hours. I came back to view my photos on 11/4 and boy was I surprised...there were so many photos to choose from that I felt overwhelmed. They made me look and feel great so I wanted to purchase everything. Unfortunately, I had a budget and needed to stay within my number so I ended up choosing 24 shots out of the hundreds...which was not an easy task. If I ever need to have another boudoir session done, this will be my place of choice. I've already recommended them to my sisters and my niece. Great experience with great people!

Wow. What can I say about Elise? My goal for content creation for my wedding was to have the vibe…read morecaptured. To basically be able to relive snippets. But I'm a doctor. And ill-equipped to think of cool reels to make. After 14 years of practice, I had many patients who were excited for my wedding. And so hiring someone to make some content seemed to meet many needs! Capture the vibe and share with those who could not attend. Elise and I met a few times over the course of the almost year of planning. She was pleasant, understanding when I missed a Google meeting, and very thorough. She is happy to come up with ideas and also coach you in moments. Simultaneously, she's able to seamlessly blend into the surroundings...so you're just having fun, and she's capturing it. I asked Elise to do a lot of funny stuff... like film me on my horse in a dress between my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner...? Or capture all the fun details in ways that memorialize them forever. I will NEVER regret for a moment hiring Elise. Especially when, like, 2 days after the wedding, she delivered over 200 gigs of videos and photos and even a few reels. And then the reels kept coming. Anyway.. SHE is a vibe. Her eye is meticulous. She is fun. And will be one of the best decisions you make.

They worked seamlessly with our other vendors, offered thoughtful suggestions for things I never would have thought of, and made the whole process feel effortless. The shots they captured are truly priceless--so many small, candid moments we would have otherwise missed. I was curious about what having a content creator would be like, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Elise made excellent recommendations (clearly from her experience) on how to run the day, which made everything smoother and more enjoyable. One of our biggest goals was to have our loved ones be fully present, while also knowing everyone would want to capture the moment--and this team helped us strike that balance perfectly. As crazy as the day was, having them there meant fewer guests had their phones out, which made the celebration feel more connected and authentic. On top of that, the edited videos Elise provided were perfect and let us relive all the happiness of the day over and over again. Their work gave us memories we'll truly cherish forever. Overall, we cannot recommend this team enough to anyone on the fence--it was one of the best choices we made for our wedding.

I was searching for a local photographer in the Sacramento area. I even contacted a few to request information on their packages. While in search of a photographer, I was searching for a venue. As I went to view a venue, I notice a few business cards laying on the ground. I happen to pick one up and it happened to be Jessica Bowers Photography. I loved the style of the pictures she displayed on her card. I was going for a rustic, shabby chic, and boho look. She had that style! I was relieved. Two months had passed and I had forgotten her card. I contacted a friend I knew who did Photography for our engagement pictures. Unfortunately, I wasn't happy with the service and was in search again for another photographer. As I was looking through my stack of business cards. I then saw Jessica Bowers Photography card.
