After about a month, I believed my car would be in good shape after the hefty bill and long wait. After getting to the shop, we were greeted by the nastiest attitude I have ever encountered from another human being. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude, and needs to take a couple of college courses to sharpen her communication and social skills. I fear this is what she lacked, and some. My husband and I noticed dents that weren't on the car before bringing to Duran's, a paint job that was done horribly, an uneven truck, and many other little things that added up. We were extremely dissatisfied. I expressed to the woman at the front that this was a horrible job. Her only response was, "Calm down lady." Not only was this unprofessional, it is beyond unacceptable and disgusting. I then let her know that I was calm, and she took a look at my shirt. This is where things took a turn. She saw the "CPS" logo, and with the most condescending tone said, "Oh, you work for CPS? Typical behavior of you." Excuse me? Not only was she unable to problem solve, communicate, or be a boss - she lacked human decency and she is lucky that we had class and respect. If you want to be embarrassed and shamed, extremely disgusted by that wonderful classy lady working at the front, and if you definitely want your car to look like absolute crap, I highly recommend this auto shop for you. I will never step foot in here and I now have to look for another auto place to fix the nasty job these guys did. A MILLION thumbs down! Shame on you.

They had the most disjointed communication I have ever seen at a dealership (coming from two people who have bought three cars this year) A waste of time and the most slimey car salesmen-- they live up to their reputation of being unreliable and liars. After I informed the manager/owner that I had contacted my lawyer, he started yelling at me over the phone and threatened me with his lawyer, but then after all that he wanted to give me parts for free after I requested that new parts be removed because they were installed without my permission. He then spread lies about me owing him $1800 for the free parts he willingly wanted to give me. The entire conversation was recorded for evidence because I already suspected this company is shady and does not do business to satisfy its customers. I do not recommend using this company, particularly if you require minor repairs and want a quick turnaround that does not exceed your rental period.

I met Bill (the general manager) a few years back when I was looking for a body shop to repair an unsatisfactory job done by another shop that eased recommended by the insurance company. Needless to said, I was very satisfied with their work, hence the reason I returned. This time was a minor rear end collision. Once again, Body Works on Grand handled it beautifully. It took over two to three months to get my car repaired -- and while I understand the insurance adjuster had some delays, the lack of communication on Midwest's end was unacceptable. I had to constantly chase them for updates just to find out what was going on with my vehicle. When I finally picked up the car, I noticed the hood wasn't sitting correctly. I brought it up immediately and was told it would "settle into place." Within just two days, the hood began to bend even more, specifically around the latch points. I reached out, hoping they'd at least re-evaluate the work, but instead, I was met with defensive and threatening emails stating they would void the warranty if I kept pressing the issue. To make matters worse, they had removed an emblem from the vehicle during repairs and assured me it would be replaced. However, the moment I questioned the hood installation, they told me they would no longer order the emblem and officially voided the warranty altogether. That kind of behavior shows a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. The only positive experience was the young woman at the front desk and the messenger -- both of whom were helpful and courteous. Unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for how poorly everything else was handled. Save yourself the headache -- take your car somewhere else. ** Response to comment From owner ** 1. The insurance company for the driver who hit me recommended your shop for the repairs. 2. At no point did I ask you to falsify anything. I brought an oxygen sensor and asked if it could be installed, offering to pay for it out of pocket. Are you now denying that? 3. Regarding the accusation of falsifying: didn't you claim the hood was open in the final photos of the completed car? The hood was not sitting right, and you know that. Claiming it was simply open during photos is misleading. 4. I never claimed to be a public adjuster. I work on home insurance claims, so I'm familiar with adjusters and the process. 5. When I picked up the vehicle, I specifically mentioned the hood was sitting too high. If it had been hit, why were there no paint chips, dents, or damage to the bumper or surrounding panels? 6. You speak of integrity -- all I asked was for a fair reassessment. The situation deserved another look. 7. The car had the emblem when it was dropped off. After your team washed it and I picked it up, it was missing. I brought this up, and the response I received was that you had returned it but were not going to take responsibility for replacing it. 8. I genuinely tried to resolve this. I gave your team two to three weeks and asked for a re-evaluation of the work -- which was denied. Instead of acknowledging the concerns, I was met with defensiveness and my character was called into question. This is not how professional business should be conducted. I truly expected better.

He sent me the correct mirror I took it to the shop and there was a crack in the mirror housing that appeared after painting prep. The shop where I took the car said I should use the mirror because of the crack so they repaired the mirror that was on the car originally. I told Frank we didn't need either mirror so he sent me a mailing label I shipped them back he credited my credit card! during the whole process Frank was totally helpful and easy to deal with.
