We drove through Ardmore on a road trip from Oklahoma City to Dallas. I wasn't expecting to find much, but we stumbled across this place. It was wonderful. The server and owner were very nice, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was surprisingly classy. I noticed the dishes are from Crate and Barrel. The pineapple cream pie was perhaps the best desert I've ever had! We had the "Bob" pizza, Turkey Jack Club panini, Giana's Lasagna with tomato basil soup. The lasagna was good, but it didn't "redefine what I thought lasagna should taste like" as the menu promised. The pizza was very good, especially the ham. The panini was flavorful and expertly made. The soup was the best tomato soup I'd ever had. The service was very friendly and attentive with good recommendations. I wavered between 4 and 5 stars, but decided on 4 because I save my 5's for when I'm truly blown away. I recommend this restaurant and will return next time I'm in Ardmore. read more

This is the best pizza place around! Everything is made in house, and the service is great! The staff is friendly and laid back. The atmosphere is a soft lounge feel but with a bit more spark. There is a window to the kitchen so you know it's clean. The ingredients are all fresh. You can choose two different sauces- basil pesto and traditional red sauce. I don't like tomatoes so the pesto sauce was perfect! Everything had a great flavor that was not too much but not bland either. Absolutely the best pies around. The pies are made by the owners mother in her kitchen and brought to the place to sell. They are the best in the world! If you are in this area, you must try this great place. read more

Who knew this little gem was in Ardmore, OK?! My family and I like it so much we went back the next day for lunch! We had their supreme pizza and spinach salad for dinner the first night. The pizza was hot and delicious; definitely handmade and prepared. The salad was oh so good. The avocados and toasted pecan throughout the spinach were a perfect combination with the house dressing. For dessert we had the cherry cheesecake. I do not like cherry at all, but this cheesecake was AMAZING. For lunch the next day I had a grilled cheese and tomato soup. Both very delicious. The soup was hearty and flavorful and the grilled cheese was hot and grilled to perfection. Since the cheesecake was so good the night before we had to order it again. Stopped in Ardmore for 1 night and consulted my trusty yelp app. The Ten Star restaurant had 5 stars ans 27 reviews. I will absolutely agree with this. I ordered the max meat and veggie pizza, ceasar salad and cheese sticks. All were amazing! Pizza was thin and crispy, salad was amazingly fresh with a light ceasar dressing and fresh croutons and the cheese sticks are 1 of a kind because they are made with swiss cheese. I was skeptical at 1st but sooo glad we got them. Also to top it off homemade chocolate pie which I wish you could purchase online...id be set for the holidays. Also all the staff were very nice. Pizza was delicious. We arrived 20 mins before closing & the staff was still friendly. Asked if we wanted anything to drink & told us to order whenever we were ready. We talked to multiple staff members & they were all super sweet. They made us the wrong size pizza (bigger than what we ordered) & still gave it to is for the same price as the smaller one. This is a diamond in the rough. Main St in Ardmore seems to be getting a facelift both on the street and the stores along it. There were other neat places surrounding this fun pizza joint. The menu has a large selection of pizza specialties and calzones. The margarita was very good. Staff were very sweet to our kids and made the time there a lot of fun. Brought dough balls out for the kids to knead for fun. Pizza was good. Our kids proclaimed it as fantastic. I would not come out as strong on the pizza. The pizza was good, I liked the style, the meats they used were delicious, but overall the pizza to me was just good. Above average for sure, but not the beat I have ever had. For reference, pizzas that I think are amazing are Scalinis in Dallas, Hideaway in Oklahoma, MeMe's in Norman, OK (RIP). Our family travels often between Fort Worth and Oklahoma City. We've begun planning our trip around a stop at Ten Star. We've never had a bad pizza (or calzone) and the service is over the top good. My wife can't eat gluten which always adds a degree of difficulty in selecting restaurants. Ten Star has gluten free that is almost as good as the regular crust. Our kids love it too. read more

I went here with my parents when I was in town a few months ago. And we loved it! I am a huge pizza fan, so I love to try a new place that isn't a chain(I am so over the likes of Papa Johns and Pizza Hut). I am also excited to see new business opening and thriving in downtown Ardmore. The area has a lot of potential, and I am glad to see it flourishing, with places like Ten Star and Main Street Coffee. I love the ambiance here. It makes it feel like an expensive, fancy restaurant, when in fact its just a pizza place. But a pizza place with really good pizza. We ordered their meat combo pizza, that was good. But I really loved the pizza I created. Which was pesto(I LOVE pesto on pizza) with chicken, bacon and onions. It was delicious! My boyfriend didn't think he lived pesto until he had this pizza, everyone at the table enjoyed it. Now whenever my parents go to Ten Star this is what they get. This may be one of the best restaurants in downtown Ardmore! We stopped by as we were waiting for the train and, even though we only ordered a coffee and slice of cheesecake, we were delighted with a first class experience. Underwhelmed. First came here because everyone said it was great. Found the atmosphere to be kind of hipsterish and stuffy. Got the pizza, and it just seemed like a small town joint that copied better pizza from places in New York and Chicago. Never got any urge to come back there again. Great tomato bisque soup and always love the spinach salad with grilled chicken. Pizzas are very good too - like a custom, home made as opposed to the chains that all taste very similar.
