The menu is fairly short, though: there are your standard appetizers, like empanadas (which were ok, but not great) and a small range of selected cuts - you can either opt for 200g, 300g, 400g or the whopping 500g. What really makes the estancia stand out against other competition (such as Goodman's in Zurich), though, is the price. For two appetizers, drinks, two steaks and a third entree (yes, we were hungry) we only payed around 80 Euros! So, is the 45 minute drive from Zurich worth it? Definitely. Just make sure that you have a reservation; the place is insanely popular. We went there on a Tuesday night - right when they opened at 17.30h - and they could hardly find a place for us.

This is a restaurant with the most lovely owners I've met anywhere near…read more Always paying attention if you still have something to drink or if you need a new beer for example. The idea with the small menu, written inside on the wall, is really nice and you can be sure that you always have fresh made food. During the summer time they have some seats available outside in front of the restaurant, and beeing surrounded by cars makes the name of the location more understandable :). The cars don't disturb you anyhow, they are simply there but not bothering you at all. When it's cold outside you better grab the phone and make a reservation, otherwise you might have bad luck with finding an available table. If you are lucky, then you an meet friendly bikers with their amazing bikes or you can see old cars which are driven by friends of the owners. I simply love this place and I can't do anything more then recommend this to everybody who likes a good burger, steak or only salad.

The salad that comes with the steak for free was good but the sauce (mustard) really nothing special and a bit too much oil anyway. The meat itself was very delicious and and didnt cost a lot at all!! Service: The service was friendly. We had to wait A REALLY LOONG time for our soup. The other courses came too fast as we didnt even finish the first one. I dont want to blame they though because the waitress was all alone and still very friendly. The management should employ more people. Ambience: The restaurant itself looks cool and is made in a "farmer"-style Conclusion: The meat is really good and for a very good price! I only payed €28 for a soup, salad 200g of turkey with fries and two drinks! but besides the price and the meat i probably wouldnt come back
