Overated and underwhelming experience. In a word, lackluster. There are better options.

My Husband has also made close friends, even with the clergy, who will meet outside of temple for dinners and celebrations.

You can thank your employee Kenneth Fry for this one star review…read more You would think that employees at this school should be those who would set an example for the children, but Ken Fry is a bully and a sorry excuse for a human being. Tonight I witnessed Ken Fry berate a food truck worker for accidentally overcharging his credit card... something like accidentally punching in $120.00 instead of $12.00.... an innocent mistake. He had actually even signed off on it without noticing ... but She immediately noticed the error and correcting the issue, and issuing a full refund and going as far as giving him the food for free for the trouble. Ken Fry proceeded to berate the girl accusing her of theft and creating a huge issue, after she brought it to his attention and corrected it .... and he still treated her like absolute crap in front of a huge crowd of people. I was completely appalled and disgusted by his completely inappropriate and senseless infantile behavior. Quite frankly, Ken Fry is a disgusting excuse for a human being. If this is the example of people you employ at this school, i feel sorry for your institution and the children who go to school here. Perhaps you should reconsider the type of people you employ or parents should reconsider sending their children here

This Church is as good as it gets. I have been a lifetime member of this Church (although I have…read moreattended it in various states) and everywhere I have moved has had a congregation that has met my family's needs and offered both camaraderie and teachings of Christian principles in harmony with the Bible and Book of Mormon. Each congregation is run by unpaid, volunteer clergy and volunteers within its programs-- the auxiliaries are generally the young children "Primary," youth "young men/young women," women "Relief Society," and men or "Elders Quorum." This isn't a museum for perfect people, but is rather a "hospital for sinners." Our members are industrious, friendly, and helpful to each other. We want to be united and lift each other up! I attend the Boca Raton Ward, which meets at 10:30am. There is also a West Boca Raton Ward meeting at 12pm and a Spanish-speaking branch meeting at 9am. Nearby, there is another chapel in Boynton Beach (a "Stake Center") with English, Haitian-Creole, Spanish, and Young Single Adult wards. There is also a huge Portuguese speaking ward nearby that meets in Coconut Creek. This ward has lots of young families, lots of retirees, lots of in-between ages, a large primary, and lots of love to give. If you are new please come check this Church out- my husband is the good looking one and I am the one in the back row trying (probably desperately) to prevent my kids from being the loudest in the congregation or turning off the lights mid-sermon. Come say hi- find some purpose in the doctrine teaching truths about eternal families and life after death- and make some instant new friends.

A very beautiful Roman Catholic Church in suburban Boca Raton run by the Carmelite Fathers (lots of…read moreflowing brown robes and cherubic smiles). It's the parish church of a dear friend of mine as well as being named for my very special patron, Saint Jude; so we opted to head for the early Christmas Eve Midnight Mass and we weren't disappointed. While a bit of a modern church as far as architecture goes - it was also popular with quite a large (and young) congregation - usually that means screaming babies galore but maybe with the anticipation of Santa coming that evening, the toddlers were all very well behaved. We probably got one of the last good parking spots, and good last spot of seats in the comfy pews and we were in turn rewarded by a very special service that was lead by a young priest from Southeast Asia; at times he was hard to understand but he was so vivacious in his sharing of the faith and his nascent wisdom of the gospel that it was most infectious and I think we all left rather edified. Upon leaving I saw that despite the modernity of the Church exterior and interior they still had some good old fashioned shrines with one of those rarities; real candles (not the electronic stab a button to flicker type) - which I think always add such magical allure and odor to a vestibule of a proper church. From the area where we departed I noticed a sizeable shrine to the aforementioned patron saint, Jude Thaddeus, as well as one dedicated to the Carmelite patroness; Our Lady of Mount Carmel - both were very beautiful.

I would definitely think twice about having your child attend this school. My child recently…read moreattended the Pre-k program and unfortunately, there were several uncomfortable incidences that took place on the school grounds. I understand that there is no perfect school but the overall feeling that I had when I communicated with the principal and staff, was never warm and welcoming. I was told that things would be taken care of but to not discuss it with other parents because they don't want rumors to fluctuate at their school. What an odd thing to say to a concerned parent. I felt a feeling of cover up was more important to the staff, then the actual incident itself. Be sure to check bathroom door in the three year old classroom/aftercare room and you will clearly see that it doesn't exist. A bit scary when a child is trying to use the restroom and is visible for everyone in the classroom to see. As far as the teachers are concerned, if you feel like you want to be a part of a click, then this is where to go. If not, they will definitely make you feel that you are an outcast.
