I chose the Hozor Ki Pasandwalla Murghi because I wanted to try to pronounce it, and it's one of Oli's favorites. It's thinner sauce with nice heat and a good amount of peppers, onions, and tomatoes. He chose the Chicken Laknavi, and Jane chose the Chicken Pasanda. Everything was nicely spiced - heat but still flavor. Portions were generous - we probably only needed half as much, but we couldn't resist all the flavors. We were treated to a drink afterwards with our bill, and Bailey's was a perfect digestif with the chocolate. On our way out, we were given a 2019 calendar as a holiday present. The food is good quality and consistant (I visited far too many times!) and reasonably priced even for a Oxford Brookes student. It is generally quiet in there with good decor and appropriate music. I must recommend the chicken dansak washed down with a sweet lassi. The Mirabai isn't in the middle of town - it's in Headington so it's probably not best located for many. Also there is very little parking to be had. Perhaps this is why it is so quiet.
