Note that we live 3500 miles away so it is quite a chore for us to visit this restaurant. Tonight we had the house special lamb curry and the spinach chana paneer with lime rice. Both dishes were excellent. They had the right mix of spices and tasted great. The waiter listened to what we like and recommended that lamb dish instead of the one we initially chose. We found out that this restaurant is really a Pakistani restaurant with an Indian name. There are a numbers of Pakistani dishes on the menu. As we found out they can also do Indian dishes well. We plan to return another night for dinner.

Then, whenever we were unsure which version of something to get, they were happy to combine things. So we ended up getting garlic stuffed naans, and the saag aloo combined with the aloo gobi, which is just a level a flexibility normally not afforded in restaurants. The food that they offer is amazing, and if there is anything that you want that they dont' have on the menu they can normally make it for you. As with the majority of places along the river front in Bidford it was affected by the floods of last year, meaning a complete refurbishment and this has definitely had a positive effect. The decor is modern and clean, the seats are comfortable and there is plenty of space so you do not feel like you are squeezed in. They also offer a take away service, and normally the time that they tell you to turn up to pick it up is spot on, meaning that you do not have to wait around for ages. At the entrance to the restaurant they have really comfortable sofas, either for people waiting to takeaway or people waiting to be seated, though these are normally free due to there being plenty of seating and the fact that the food is ready when they say it will be.
