My precious Kawai through the years!!!
Kathlene M.

We received a card while waiting for Kawai to come home. Thank you!! My Kawai came home today in a beautiful box with her name on it. Also got a footprint with stand and even clips of her hair. A package of tissues which I greatly needed, a Rainbow Bridge poem card. It was way more than I expected and so precious. I just adore it so much. Thank you for making this so beautiful and so very special for me and Kawai xxxooo

This was Mia, our precious fur baby laid to rest on Dec. 22, 2023. Still crying as I post this. She was almost 18 years old.
Amy C.

Dr. Davis was very professional and compassionate. Our little chihuahua/rat terrier mix, Mia, was now an old lady (almost 18), who was deaf, blind, and could barely stand/walk and afflicted with an extremely arched back. She would cry every night and I would hold her in my arms to comfort her then lay her in her bed when she fell asleep in my arms. Dr. Davis did not make the decision to put her down, we did, but emphasized Mia no longer had a good quality of life. She could put her on meds to prolong her life but what type of life would that be? Hubby & I made the heartbreaking but humane decision to put her to sleep. We didn't want her suffering anymore. We kissed her and said our goodbyes as we stepped out bawling outside of the trailer. Our son-in-law was with her when they did the final steps. She is now over the rainbow bridge with our other fur baby Prada, who passed in her sleep last year. We love Dr. Davis's caring & kind demeanor. She is really my son-in-law's veterinarian for his two dogs. We appreciate her kindness and understanding during this difficult circumstance. She was comforting and reassuring about Mia's passing. We thank my SIL for recommending her. Because it's so painful we will no longer have any more pets. This wonderful doctor sent us a thoughtful sympathy card with sweet sentiments. What a lovely & personal touch we truly appreciate. We would highly vouch for her for all your pets' needs. In the meantime we will forever miss our fur babies and hold them close to our hearts.

So very great full for the services that is offered by Temecula Creek Veterinary and Dr. Moss. As an alpaca farmer it's comforting to know there is help and a vet with knowledge, just a phone call away. Offering a guiding plan to help my animals get back to feeling well. Been using Temecula Creek Veterinary for years and have never had a negative experience.

Dr. Davis's patient (Hunter) he was seen for an ear infection by Dr Davis and Michelle. They gave him medicine and now he's !

Dr Courtney Davis comes highly recommended by my family! I have brought 3 of my fur babies to her and she helped them every time! Michelle took my call today as a concerned mom of Ollie who has been shaking lately. We are awaiting an appointment with Dr. Davis to help nurse him back to health again. Thank you Temecula Creek! You are the best in my book! Also come HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Tamara Ziuraitis

Dr. Jeff Moss and the whole team at Temecula Creek Veterinary are awesome. I moved my horses to Aguanga about a year ago and Dr. Moss has done a great job with their teeth and vaccinations. His team also came out for an emergency when one of my horses was choking on something it ate in the pasture. He also helped me monitor the post surgery for one of my horses that was performed at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital. All was positive and all my horses are healthy! I found him to be very responsive/professional and believe his prices are reasonable. If your looking for a good Vet, I highly recommend Dr. Moss and Temecula Creek Veterinary. Phil Hill

New ownership and veterinarians- HORRIBLE. I used to genuinely love taking my dog to Care Animal…read moreHospital. I always received thoughtful care and thorough explanations, with top notch lab work every year. The vet techs and front desk staff are great, but the vets that replaced a retired Dr. Alcorn and his staff are really bad, hard to understand, and flat out unprofessional. I booked an appointment after finding a raised bump near my dog's anus that clearly looked out of the ordinary. Doctor K insisted that it was "inflammation" and wanted to give me anti-inflammatory medicine for 10 days then return to see if it goes away. I had to ask why he would not biopsy it to make sure it's not a tumor, because it clearly looked odd and not at all like inflammation. He agreed to the biopsy. He called after several days and Lo & behold, it IS a tumor! And it was growing very rapidly. To be 100% honest, and I hate saying this, I couldn't understand what he was saying while on the phone. His accent makes it difficult to understand already unfamiliar words regarding her bloodwork. I did understand that he would have the staff call me back to schedule a surgery to remove it if I wanted to, or just leave it alone. I insisted that I wanted to remove it as quickly as possible, as I noticed it was growing fast. Staff never called. I started looking around for another vet, because at this point I wasn't confident in his professionalism. At day 10 I finally called and mentioned that he never called me back to schedule surgery. I admitted to the staff that I felt terrible, but I couldn't understand what he was saying about the bloodwork and was hoping they could help out. I apologized, and they mentioned that it actually happens often with him. They even offered to help relay some of the information as needed. When Dr. K finally called back the next day, I reminded him that he was supposed to call to schedule the surgery and he flat out said "Oh I forgot, I must've been delayed." And then asked for pictures of the mass before he agreed to do the surgery. As if he hadn't been the one to see the mass in the vet visit! I told him that I wanted to schedule the surgery right away, because it had grown in size and he had already forgotten to schedule once before. He said "okay send the pictures and I'll call back to schedule."...... Well, he never called back to schedule. So I took her to another veterinary office and they re-ran her bloodwork and scheduled her for surgery the next day! I called the front desk to politely discuss what happened with Dr. K and how unprofessional it was. I expressed disappointment because I loved their practice before. They mentioned that they did change ownership, and Dr. Alcorn retired, in fact, much of the original staff no longer works there. I apologized to the front desk staff and told them that the unprofessional experience had nothing to do with them, but that the overall experience was extremely bad. The staff I spoke to was so nice and understanding. She did ask if I wanted to speak to Dr. K. I asked her to remind him that I'm still waiting for him to call to schedule and see if he even bothers. He called that night at 8:40PM. 8:40PM........ honestly, what used to be a great vet hospital is now an unnecessarily expensive and unprofessional shit show. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS.

Apparently, my dog was having bladder issues and the doctor wanted to do a test for cushions disease because that's what she believed it was after making an appointment online. She said I made the wrong one and she charged me $135 more because I checked the wrong box which I think is not Good business practice being a long-term customer first of all. Needless to say, I got a second opinion, and I did have to put my dog to sleep because the other doctor asked why x-rays were never taken. Apparently he had bladder stones and one lodged in his urethra , his liver was enlarged and something was going on with his kidneys and I felt at that age it wasn't appropriate to put him through all the pain and suffering of surgery!!!. I don't recommend this animal hospital as maybe if they would've caught it sooner I wouldn't have had to make this decision. It breaks my heart to think that waiting and wrong diagnosis was a problem that caused my dogs short life. The staff in Front was quite rude and they took me as a walk in so I had to wait several hours to have my dog seen who was not feeling well. Do your due diligence get a second opinion if you are not happy with the first one. I am not saying this because I am angry or in pain with the grief of losing my best friend. I just think it's important to get second opinions if you are not sure that you are happy with your doctors diagnose thank you.

The care and overall experience were generally average--not exceptionally bad, but not particularly good compared to other veterinary practices I have used. One of the reasons I initially chose this office was because they offer a military discount. Unfortunately, my experience completely changed when I requested a copy of my dog's medical records. I first requested my dog's complete medical records on April 6, 2026, via email. After receiving no records, I sent multiple follow-up emails and made several phone calls over the next two months. The only response I received was on April 25, 2026, when I was told: "Dr. Gill is aware and is finalizing the notes to send. Once they are signed off and approved to send, we will send them ASAP." Despite that assurance, the records were never provided. Timeline of my requests: * 4/6/26 - Initial records request submitted via email * 4/15/26 - Follow-up email sent * 4/25/26 - Office responded stating records would be sent ASAP after doctor approval * 4/29/26 - Additional follow-up email sent * 5/27/26 - Called office; information taken and promised a callback * 5/28/26 - Follow-up email sent * 6/1/26 - Called office again; information taken and promised a callback * 6/9/26 - Called office again and was told the doctor had to release the records More than two months after my original request, I still did not have my dog's records. I ultimately had to drive to the office in person and explain that I would wait there until the records were released. Looking back, I realized this was not an isolated issue. I often had to follow up multiple times to obtain records after routine visits as well. For pet owners with pet insurance, specialists, emergency visits, or anyone who simply needs access to their pet's medical records in a timely manner, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Access to medical records is a basic expectation, and after more than two months of unanswered requests, emails, and phone calls, I completely lost confidence in this practice's administrative processes. As a result of this experience, I will be filing a complaint with the state veterinary licensing board regarding the failure to provide records in a timely manner. I hope this review encourages the practice to improve its communication and records-release process so other pet owners do not have to go through the same experience.

3 Strikes your out!…read more SCAM SCAM SCAM I first brought my pup to this vet November of last year. We just moved to the area and my pup was experiencing a bad ear infection. They charged me more than $1,200 to clean and run tests. During the cleaning the vet was informing me of medication that would help with my pup's seasonal allergies which was around $500 a month. I am not exaggerating at all. They pushed it until I told them that my wife was gonna give birth any day now & I didn't want to commit it so soon. Two weeks later we came back to the vet for a check- up and they insisted that my pup start his $500 a month medication. I declined it at the time and wanted to do my own research before agreeing to the medication. Another week passed and a more budget friendly medication was mentioned. We agreed and went to the vet to pick up a monthly dosage. When my wife arrived to the front desk to pick up the medication the staff was a little confused on which medication was ordered. When my wife mentioned the name of the medication, the staff automatically said that " your husband denied it initially because you couldn't afford it." Totally uncalled for and unprofessional. We were upset at comment but decided to brush off and continue to go to the vet since we were new to the area. I wonder why they never mentioned this from the start and why the expensive medication was the only option at first? We go to the vet once a month to pick up our pups medication and would call 3-4 days ahead before he runs out for a refill. Earlier this week I called the vet to ask for a refill and mentioned that my pup had 3 days left of medication. They said they would speak to the vet for approval for the refill. They called me back and mentioned that my pup has not had a bi-annual exam and unfortunately they cannot refill his prescription without one. They did not have any appointment left for the week and the next available appointment would be two saturdays from now. Note, I called on a Monday.. The staff kept mentioning that my pups bi-annual exam was overdue a couple months now.. ok, why am I only knowing this now when I come monthly to pick up his medication? Why can't I get a refill until his next appointment? So this tells me that you would rather have my pups medication run out just so you make sure I schedule an exam for a little extra $$? Enough is enough. I am highly disappointed and would not consider this vet to anyone. The experience I had shows that they care more about the money than the health of your pups. I will not be bringing my pup here anymore and will take my business elsewhere. Thanks for showing your true colors. Don't be fooled by the signs and pictures. They only want you for your $$.

I appreciated the kindness of three staff members, one at the front desk and two in the treatment area. However, my overall experience raised serious concerns about my dog's care and the communication surrounding it. Before my dog's weight, temperature, or blood sugar were checked, the veterinarian administered what I understood to be seizure medication. The veterinarian then said that my dog had experienced a seizure because she growled and barked. I believe my dog was frightened, and I felt the veterinarian was interpreting her fear response as evidence that she had suffered a seizure. After the medication was administered, I observed my dog shaking and experiencing convulsions. Poisoning was later mentioned as another possible explanation, but no testing was performed, and I did not receive a clear explanation of the diagnostic process or the basis for the recommended treatment. Two additional medications were administered without prior discussion. I did not observe any improvement, and I was subsequently billed for them. An overnight stay estimated at $7,000 was also recommended. I was informed that there was no guarantee the stay would improve my dog's condition and that she might still need to be euthanized because the veterinarian did not see any brain activity. When I asked was she having an adverse reaction to the medication, she said no. I later found out from another vet that wasn't the case. I also found it unsettling to watch someone speculate about what might be wrong with my dog and then become upset when I questioned that assessment. The interaction made the environment feel tense and unprofessional, especially while I was trying to understand my dog's condition and make informed decisions about her care. All while trying to keep not only myself, but my family and neighbors emotions intact. I was also uncomfortable with the same antagonistic employee's approach to payment. When presenting the bill for the seizure medication, she asked, "So are you going to pay it or not?" I found the wording and manner insensitive and confrontational, particularly given the circumstances. After I decided to seek care elsewhere, the same unkempt, aggressive, and antagonistic staff member approached me and asked, "Well, what number works for you?" I understood this to be a question about how much I could pay, but the wording and manner made me feel pressured and uncomfortable during an already distressing situation. She had also aggressively questioned me about where I was taking my dog. Euthanasia was raised while I still had unanswered questions about my dog's condition and treatment options. I perceived the veterinarian's responses to my questions as defensive and frustrated, and I felt my concerns were not adequately addressed. I ultimately took my dog to another facility after a neighbor's recommendation. She is doing much better now. This is day two, she's back home and running around! she is significantly improved and is not in the condition she was in when she was at this facility. I keep saying to myself, if I would have left her there or stayed longer, they would have killed my baby! If you won't pay them to play pet doctor, they will say there is no other options and then offer you to pay them to kill your pet! Based on my experience, If you love your pet, go somewhere else!
