After being offered a very fair trade-in price at this location for my old phone, I was supprised with the openness and honesty of the saleswoman. She happily told me of the margins/profit they expected to make on my phone, and the one I was looking to buy. Both seemed very fair, and the promise of a warranty helped ease my concerns a bit as well. The phone I planned to trade in is like-new, a recent factory refurbished one I got on warranty. I've never had problems with it, but while they were inspecting it, the battery quickly drained a few percent, something I accounted to iCloud updating based on changing data settings and backups. While the drain wasn't anything drastic, it was enough that the saleswoman had to decline to take it. While this was a bit of a disappointment, it also furthered my impression that JoyOne looks to sell quality phones that they've taken a good, hard look at before they put their name on the line.

Despite her reluctance to move with the times and go online, she still manages to make her visits to Telstra shop in Indro to pay the bills and get all her questions answered while she's at it. The Telstra shop in Indro have proved to be so good at their customer service that it doesn't even tempt my mum into online banking. She enjoys coming here because it is convenient and she always has peace of mind. As I said the customer service is really good. There is often a Telstra staff member greeting customers as they enter the store. The staff would ask the customers what service they are after and if they could assist in any way. They do help! If you tell them you have a problem with your bill, they will point you in the right direction etc etc. Simple and basic good customer service.

Like many other sufferers out there, the list goes on. At first, when I went to complain about all these inconvenient things happening with my Optus provider, I was ready to start bashing walls and start knocking things over- my frustration had peaked. Luckily, for everyone that never happened. I spoke to the staff there about the issues I had with the telephone company and they actually listened and actually went and fixed it. No hassles, no drama. Problems were solved within 24 hours or for some issues less than 2 minutes. The team at the Optus 'Yes' store in Mt Ommaney have the best customer service of any telecommunications company I've ever encountered. They must see plenty of angry and complaining customers, however, they're able to still remain calm and professional throughout it all and solve most of the issues. Great team!

I'm not sure where these guys came from, as they seem to arise over night, but it's hardly a thriving store. It seems these guys cater towards a very specific audience - people who care very deeply about their home theatre setup. To be honest, it's not for everyone, as it's about a bazillion times more expensive than, say, golfing - but either way, if you're going to do, might as well do it right! They cater for a commercial market too. I suspect this is the bread and butter of the Living Sound and Vision market. The service is very good and personal - they didn't do the normal sales BS that Harvey Norman do. Very professional and very knowledgeable too!
