The employee then told me she isn't an actual waitress, so the venue is hiring off of the street, apparently. The incident was reported to managing staff, whom denied being told when I spoke to her and the owner on the phone. The owner was also quite rude about the incident, refusing to right this wrong, and because the night was said and done, they didn't take any interest in resolving the issue. She was quite rude and condescending on the phone. All in all, the venue grounds are quite beautiful, but if anything goes awry, don't expect the business to do anything to accommodate.

It's a Friday, there is a cover band and it got pretty crowded. My problem is, there were 2 people serving and one of the servers, our server, is now bartending! There were 2 other people when we got there, who I assumed were the owners. 2 people can not handle a Friday night crowd on their own. Service was sloooooow. Atmosphere and food were very good. I actually felt bad for the servers. Shame on the management!

Holy cow! I thought. This is a real bargain! We ended up having 6 in our party and the hostess was extremely friendly. We got sat on time and once we made our way to the serving area, we were all very pleased. The fried turkey and smoked ham were my two favorite proteins. The prime rib was OK but I'm not a prime rib fan. Most of the sides were fantastic too. I know my mom griped a little bit about one of the omelet station cooks saying he 'kept messing up peoples' food. The only real downside was that they had 3 seatings and the hecticness of service areas would come in waves. Almost the point of people running into each other. I'm not sure if this club is private or public but I'll definitely think of this when I'm back on the coast. It's a total hidden treasure.
