Not 100% sure what it is supposed to be, but it felt like an upscale Dollar Tree. It was super bright, with lots of color, fall home decor was the first section upon walking in, then regular home decor and from there it seemed all over the place. Kids toys, party supplies, candy, cleaning supplies, organization items, tools. There were also craft items, beauty products, bathroom essentials, and electronics. Seemed like they were still putting things out but I didn't really see any workers on the floor. Decided on a bottle of Palmolive dish detergent since I was almost out. Go up front to the registers and it seems like there are a couple ways to check out, with a cashier or self-checkout but all in the same section. I read about it before finishing this review and its actually an upscale Dollar General! I was sort of on track. It was fine. I visited party city a few days ago to pick up some fun bridal shower decorations for a "virtual"…read morebridal shower I was attending. I wanted the bride to have something fun and special in her home while we all zoomed in to chat with her! When I arrived, the store itself had a few other customers inside, but it was not too crowded. Everyone was wearing masks and they had signs on the floor directing traffic flow. I made my way to the bridal section and found some really pretty balloons and some other random silly gifts (champagne flute and sash). The balloons were about $20 but included a1 large mylar balloon as well as a few smaller mylar ones which were all so adorable for a bridal shower and they included free helium at the counter after purchase. I had to get them! Check out my photo(s) to see how adorable they are! I made my way to the counter and the girl helping me offered to pit helium in the balloons and even made sure to take special care of the champagne flute so that it wouldn't crack. It was a pleasant experience. Party City is my go to place for all fun party decorations and I always find what I am looking for!

I brought in my receipt to make a return for an item I did not use (when I bought the item, the lady at checkout it let me know to use my phone number in case I needed to return it) and they refused me because October 24th was the last day for those returns even though I bought this item after the 24th. She refused to look at my receipt or even tried to scan it. I have never been so appalled by customer service. Please go to any other party city.
