Ted's was excellent but they closed end of 2024. Always got my Christmas rib roast there.

Today is the 1st time ive been in here in about 20 years. I remembered about the beef sticks from there my dad use to get and had to make a trip. Super friendly and by far the best beef jerky I have ever had. Also Just wish the spicy beef sticks had more of a kick. Maybe I accidentally was given the original. Still top notch read more

I grew up on their bacon and all other bacon pales in comparison. They always know me when I walk in the door and greet me by name. From what I have seen while there, they do that with all their regulars. They have a LOT to choose from and nothing goes to waste because you can always buy the extras for your canine friend. I live about 1.75 hours away so I always call a few days in advance before going up there so my order is ready to go when I walk in. Let me tell you, it's worth the drive. We are staying in Michigan for several months and were finally able to try several of their meats and homemade sausages. There are several butcher shops between Washington State and Michigan that I am extremely impressed with that we have tried on my husbands work trips.This is on my list of top 4 so far. 1 of the other shops was in Texas. I purchased 3 types of jerky, beef, spicy beef (xxxtra hot), and turkey. I also purchased different sausages, brats, etc as well as flank steak (which is hard to find sometimes) and 6 super tender rib eye steaks. There were various other things as well. The only problem I have run into is my husband works such long hours that it's hard to make it in often enough. Tonight I rent a car so tomorrow I'm stocking up, beginning with bacon, beef jerky, brats, buffalo.....(yummy) and ending with treats for the dogs. read more

My mom and step dad have been going since I was very young..my mom would buy their beef jerky and hide it so we didn't find it because it is just that good. When I lives in Florida I would have my favorites shipped to me regularly...Ted's is actually one of the reasons I moved back...I figured I could get another dozen of deer/beer sticks (not venison) instead of paying that amount in shipping...Love them to pieces...the owners..well also the beer sticks. read more
