Many places have interviews and times that you can visit to check out the center; however, this facility actually have you and the child come in for the kid to be with the kids to see if this is a fit for you, the child and the school. Its like a few hours. We did select this facility as it accomodating and structured with an education/schooling instead of just babysitting. They assist with potty training and early childhood learning. Socializing as well as nurturing. Pictures and videos are uploaded into a portal for parents to view during the day. The portal is also a written means of communication that is not meant to be the only line of communicating. The cost varies according to age and days needed (part time or full time). The children receive breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. However, when we pick our kid up she is always very hungry. There is a no outside food policy to assure of those with food allergies having a safe environment (especially peanut allergies). Ms. Tia was especially great as she was my Kiddo's first teacher and was very nurturing and loved by the kiddies. She took pride into the class and sanitizing it. Ive noticed once Ms. Tia left the class that level of sanitizing didnt occur. Although its a nice clean facility Id like to see more thorough cleaning of the toys and play areas. Ive walked into the class (2yr) and it smelled awful. I walked in om a kiddo sick and puking everywhere including the carpet. The carpet couldnt have been sanitized properly. The staffing has been turning over and seemingly no consistency. However, there are still some shining constant faces for the kids. I may not have given 5 stars but I still believe this is a good place for your child to grow, learn and be safe. The kids have outside time, circle time, Spanish, Science and more. I cannot say enough good things about Little Darlings. My son started going there when he was 1.5…read moreyears old. I was really worried because by the time he was 2 because he still was not talking. The owner Ms. Adrian (who I honestly think may be an angel disguised in human form because she is so kind and so caring) told me to give him a few more months as did my pediatrician. Well not only did my son start talking at 2 years 3 months, he started to academically excel. He learned his colors, shapes, mathematical concepts almost overnight and every day he seems to learn something new. His father recently got a teaching job at a local private school so we decided (given his discount) to apply for a pre-k four spot. When we met with school staff and we were told all the things he would be learning in Pre-K 4 this year, we realized that almost everything on the list he already learned at Little Darlings. When my son did his trial run of Pre-K 4 at the new school, he was accepted into the school by close of business that day. They were impressed by his behavior and intellect and we attribute much of that to Little Darlings. In addition to making sure that your children learn, the staff at Little Darlings are truly caring. The owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met and her empathy/concern trickles down to the rest of the staff. I still remember a rough morning that I did not want to drop my son off (he barely had sleep the night before but I was starting a new job and couldn't call out so I had to begrudgingly send him to school knowing that he was exhausted), the assistant director noticed the shift from my normal demeanor. She asked me if I was ok and I honestly told her "no" and she just gave me a big hug, and that hug and her care/concern helped me to get myself together and go through my day. The staff at Little Darlings has truly poured into my child and into me. I am very sad that my son is leaving but he takes with him a joy for learning that the staff at Little Darlings helped to instill. I can truly say that having him at Little Darlings was one of the best parenting decisions that we have made. I assure you that your children will be safe, loved, they will learn, and they will thrive if you enroll them into Little Darlings!

Back again :) Good news is that the center has made some…read moregradual 'baby step' improvements over the past several months. Each class is very different based on the teachers and how interactive, creative, attentive they are. We've been lucky that our son had an excellent teacher join his class and the fun really stepped up. (Note: his original teacher is amazing and we love her for the care and attention she gives the children... Creativity just may not be her strength.) Overall I think communication is improving, though was surprised to learn my daughter's teachers changed and I only found out 3mos later... But her class is also rocking it. Pushing to 3 stars as the center is meeting our needs. Not kicking up to 4 as it's still pricey for what you get (let's not go into comparing summer programs...) ------------------------------------------------- I am sad to come back to this review and demote its ranking from 4 to 2 stars. Many things have changed in the past 6-7 months and with new management and some core teachers leaving, I think the center has lost its groove and has lost its edge among others in the area. Tuition is one of the highest in the area and I truly do not believe the program supports the cost. We are actually moving our children to another one where those extra fun field trips, crafts and programs are included in the fee (and for a lower tuition rate). I do have to say that my daughter, at 4, knows her sight words and basic addition and subtraction. I think the teachers make a huge difference and while some are rockstars, others are not. I wish the school the best of luck as they find what works for them and hey- perhaps we'll be back! ========== My original review below My daughter has been going here for just about a year, in the toddlers program. At the end of the day, we really like this school: - she is learning a lot - she is safe - she has fun It's a great, friendly environment. Most of the teachers really do seem to sincerely care about the kids and like their jobs. Management recently had a big shift as some folks left, got promoted, etc etc but this current team seems to be sticking around. It's one of the pricier centers in the area, but at least they have lunch and snacks provided (some of the other area centers that are in the same price range don't have meals provided: I can't imagine getting breakfast, lunch and snack together for my kids every day!) They also have some extra activities which are fun, but are an additional fee. It's a little frustrating, as I feel we are already paying so much and should have those kinds of things included whenever possible. They do some art projects here and there. Communication to parents is getting better but planning could probably be a little more efficiently handled for daily happenings (good and bad), as well as big events like the recent Halloween Parade and even the Holiday show and Graduation. (I would love it if they sent pictures home!) This daycare center is great but I don't think they go above and beyond in terms of services or care for the children. I may say that only because our former center was truly incredible so perhaps we just got spoiled with all of the updates, pictures, logistically smooth center events, the free extra fun things offered, stable staff, fair pricing... At the end of the day we truly are happy here and feel like our daughter is in good, trusted hands when we drop her off each day, which is the most important thing. I would definitely recommend others send their children to Knowledge Beginnings for a good foundation on learning and socialization. Way overpriced for what you getting…read more Yes it's in a convenient location for many people but the prices for this center do not seem in line with others in the area. The center is also not the cleanest and they don't even mix infant formula.
