Todd has been a family friend & our photographer for nearly seven years now. His attention to…read moredetail is awesome. Todd makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and is very low key and down to earth which is refreshing in this business. My favourite photo taken of my eldest son and of my husband and I were taken by him & I look forward to another family session this fall!! Todd is extremely easy to talk to and can fill in the blanks if you're just not sure how or where to pose. His candid shots are also some of the best!

I had to add this guy to Yelp because he was so awesome. Among other things, he takes photos of all…read morethe kids at the 408 track in San Jose, and if you look at his site you will see his great pics. I ordered pics of my son for a greeting card at a site he is associated with, and they sent me the wrong thing. I emailed the other site and Todd Lyle. The other site never contacted me. Todd Lyle called me twice, the same evening, to fix the issue. When we realized the order was not what we thought, he changed his own site to reflect that so it wouldn't happen to someone else. He then offered to purchase, at his own expense, cards from another site to make sure I got what I wanted. I decided not to trouble him or put him to the expense, since he offered so freely and without any resentment or rancor in his tone. He truly just wanted me to be a happy customer. So I said no, it'll be fine, I'll figure it out. He then emailed me to thank me for my kindness, Then I get a very special picture of my son on his dirt bike to make up for my trouble, at no cost. I am NOT SAYING this guy is awesome because I got something for free. This guy is awesome because he wanted me to be happy and went out of his way to try to make things right, and then sent me something for my trouble. He contacted me a few separate times and contacted that company for me on my behalf. And again, he is a photographer so it was not his mistake but the mistake of the company he works with, where you can order things like calendars and such. I am so stoked and will recommend his site to other parents at the track and to anyone wanting an event photographer.

Joe and Robin photographed our December wedding in Vail, and they were absolutely amazing to work…read morewith. There are so many reasons why I'd recommend them: 1. They are fun! We had a great time shooting outside in the Rocky Mountain snow with them, and they have a knack for making people feel relaxed and happy in front of the camera. 2. They are professional. They were very communicative and organized from day 1, which put us at ease knowing that we wouldn't have to worry about the details. On the day of the wedding, they showed up right on time and knew exactly what the plan was. You can tell they have a lot of experience doing this together, and they work seamlessly as a team. 3. Their photos are amazing! When we went to pick out images for our album, we had the hardest time deciding because there were so many great shots to choose from. 4. Their turn-around time is insanely fast. We had our images back within a week after the wedding. 5. They have a great photojournalistic style. We've been to several weddings where the photographers detract from the wedding by inserting themselves into the middle of emotional moments. This is definitely not the case with Joe and Robin. They were able to capture the natural emotion of the day. After the wedding, my husband said that he didn't even notice Joe and Robin shooting during the evening, which is the highest compliment he could give! 6. They give you the freedom to print and share your photos as much as you'd like. With some other photographers we considered, it felt like they wanted to hold your images hostage after the wedding (limited print rights, permission to share photos only if the images have their watermark, etc.). Joe and Robin understand that the whole reason for having wedding photos is so that you can share them! We got a package that provided high-resolution full-size images with a print release, plus smaller images (with no watermark) for sharing via email and social media. 7. They are really committed to their clients. They go above and beyond to make sure you get everything you want. We highly recommend Joe and Robin!
