The…read moreappointment process was fast and efficient as I filled out an online request and was contacted minutes later to set up an appointment. They were able to fit me in the same day. The new patient paperwork is available online to fill out prior to your initial visit. I had already used up my x-ray benefits and the front desk was very quick to discuss with me what the charge would be with insurance. After I was seated in the exam chair, which is comfortable by the way, I was greeted by one of the doctors to discuss my toothache symptoms. Dr. Lewellen detailed my x-ray scans and described everything in simple terms as well as the necessary action plans needed to keep my teeth in good shape. Unfortunately, I needed a root canal in order to relieve my sensitivity and they were able to fit me in the same day. Dr. Budhani (the dentist who owns the facility) was brought over to perform the procedure and was very informative and provided a calm atmosphere before they began the procedure. Both doctors and assistants were professional and made me feel at ease with the procedure and continually checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing alright. This is a fantastic establishment staffed by professionals who truly work hard to make their patients feel at ease and comfortable. I'm so happy with the work done and would gladly recommend Drs. Budhani and Lewellen for anyone seeking a dentist who genuinely cares about his/her patients!

I'm out $300 now because my insurance notified me they, in fact, won't cover the crown. This is very poor practice on the part of the provider. Make sure you ask if a procedure is covered by your insurance before you let the dentist do anything! And set up a payment plan in writing beforehand, too! My dentist did not offer a payment plan! Some people don't take all the necessary steps in a process. I've had good experiences here otherwise, but I'll be much more careful. This is shady on their part.

I was hesitant about going here and it being just a chain place that would suck. I mean they have sassy billboards and radio spots promoting sexy teeth. I grew up going to the same dentist, sitting in the same chair, looking at the same yellowed walls... totally different experience 15 years ago at the traditional dentist. Called to get an appointment and a week later here I am on my way to sexy teeth. This location is convenient. Although I despise this parking lot---people don't follow the arrows--there was no issue getting in and out this time perhaps because we had a morning appointment. As we walked in the receptionists stood to greet us. They smiled and we joked around as we checked in. We were offered water and a snack while we waited. Waiting area is nice and comfortable. Didn't wait long before being called back. Every step was explained. Light massage chair and choice of Netflix or Pandora helps ease the anxiety. X Rays are annoying but part of the process and doesn't take long. Impressions for the whitening trays took just a moment. The tech explained everything and was really nice. The doctor came in and took a look...then time for the cleaning. We joked about it sounding like Mario Bros soundtrack. Once finished, she brought my bag with my new trays and explained how they worked. Bag included whitening gel, full sized whitening toothpaste, sensodine toothpaste, toothbrush and of course floss. We set our next appointment while I was still in the chair and received a text so I could place it on my calendar. Overall easy process and comfortable in an environment I tend to have anxiety about. Now I'm on my way to sexy teeth.

But, she loved it so much and it had been a couple of years so I went. This one is on the second floor of a shopping complex. Parking in the tiny lot is TIGHT! I had made my appointment in person and when I got there I had to do this huge list of questions on an ipad or whatever. Any reason I couldn't do all that before I came in? It took awhile to get through. The lobby is super cute. First they took a bunch of xrays. Both standing and when seated. This was annoying because I didn't request them, nor did I think I needed them. I am highly suspicious of this mandatory activity as I don't think it adds any value to me, which it didn't, but I would guess they charge your insurance for it and make a few bucks there. Kind of annoying and weird. In my younger days, you got examined by the dentist and xrays were only needed for a problem. I know it's all high tech now but hey I should have been given the option to say no. They seated me in one of their chairs. Asked if I wanted to watch Netflix or listen to music. I said no I didn't care. Here's what's weird; There's a big tv in my room and it's playing music from spotify or whatever, and it shows the album cover. Whoever was in there last must have chosen smooth rap or something - the album cover was - I kid you not - a naked woman on a bed in a compromising position. No outright nudity was shown, but highly inappropriate to have that up during your dentist appointment. Thankfully the song soon changed. Dentist came in, gave me a look, said xrays were good, which I already knew, and that I had no cavities. Yay. They left. The other practitioner/nurse? Did my cleaning. I hate these especially now when you don't get to spit. I hate that suction thing and that gritty toothpaste. I got told "DO YOU DRINK COFFEE" which I said yah I'm a white guy. "OH I SEE STAINING HERE" - And your point is....? Didn't say they would remove the stains or that I should do anything moving forward so.... weird. Easy on the flossing please - tasting blood is not something I want in any appointment, ever. When I left I was spitting blood and bits of bone? tartar? toothpaste? All of the above? into the parking lot. God I couldn't wait to get home and RINSE. Had an email when I got home with instructions on how to use the whitening kit they DIDN'T give me. Nor was I told I was geting one. Another charge to my insurance without my consent or knowledge? Will I be getting another wonderful mystery bill in the mail for items insurance magically decides not to cover for some reason? Not a fan.

Dr.Shaddel let me know you need to have those filled I chose to wait thinking about the pain and not my teeth, had I listened to him and had my teeth filled when I should have I wouldn't have had more in-depth filling. He did question me about why it would hurt I explained it always hurt at my old dentist. From me to you it did not hurt one bit, he numbed me and probably added a little more due to my fear. His office girls are kind and comforting and funny=good sense of humor. I highly recommend his service and his experience is beyond reproach. Thank You Dr.Shaddel and staff

This was my second visit here as I had to get a new dentist since my dentist moved away so I…read moredecided to go to my parents dentist. I have never had a cavity in 22 years of my life or any issues with my teeth with my previous dentist always saying that my teeth are healthy and it wasn't until I came to this place last October for a checkup after needing to get my wisdom teeth removed by this place the previous month where Doctor Shadell even looked at my teeth and said they were really healthy himself. And it wasn't until that October visit when he pointed out a small cavity in my tooth so I shrugged it off and did what I had to do because I just figured most people get cavities eventually right? Well flash forward to July and I go in for my check up and now suddenly I have three more cavities (and one maybe cavity which he turned to the assistant to say he doesn't know what "that" is) which he then scolded me that I needed to brush my teeth better since I have braces when I brush the same as I always have and I had braces before with my previous dentist and had no problems then. This is not even mentioning Dr.Shadell's bedside manner. He had us waiting an hour during the last visit from our appointment time and the only thing he said to my mother was "things happen" and didn't even apologize. He also told my mother that her cavities were really big in front of another patient which is rude and Inconsiderate. Also they are not clean I noticed during the last visit that Dr. Shadell's assistant poured the dental tools and her gloves out on the computer counter top way before he saw us during our long wait which I never seen my previous dental place do, and not being clean and putting those tools inside of someone's mouth can give bad bacteria. They also gave me a hard time about getting fluoride treatment because I'm over 18 now but my previous dentist gave it to me still and I wanted to go back to that because I figured maybe that helped me a lot and if you look online there are lots of reason why people get fluoride besides age they can get it to help them with braces, it is also good for those with dry mouths, those on medication, and those at high to moderate risk of cavities. Anyway the girl at the counter for some reason act as if we couldn't pay 15 dollars for fluoride treatment when they charge way more for that when we get a cavity. My mom also says that he laid off most off his staff and the girl who was working the front counter had to give me my fluoride treatment because of that so to me it seems like his practice is all about the money. I will definitely be on the look out for a dentist who actually cares about their patients. Update: That reply is a weak attempt to save face with much of it being deflection just to make you guys look better because there's no way in the world you can not know that you screwed up, you just didn't expect that we would be the ones to tell it on you. Obviously it doesn't show excellent chair side manner anyone who went through what we did would say otherwise and my mother was complaining too which is how I'm informed on her perspective, and we both decided on our own free will that after our last visits neither of us will be going back to you guys. The tools and assistants gloves were on the counter with my mother as my witness as she was in the back of the room with me and I pointed it out to her I only wish I had my own phone on me that day instead of hers whose memory is full so I could have taken a picture to catch you guys in your lie, you guys had us waiting over an hour and still without any apology or acknowledgement at all, and you made her feel bad about her teeth in front of another customer on top of rambling that nonsense about how "you bet she won't give her any money back" as stated in the previous review. If your staff supposedly moved on than why haven't you hired more as replacements as most places do after a couple years or longer of them being gone? (My dad is even the one who told my mom that you cut down on the staff as I didn't even know you use to have more since I had barely just started going to you guys and he even told her that he bumped into a former worker at the store who informed him that you cut down on the staff), and finally I had braces before for 2 years and had no problems with my teeth and I live a much healthier lifestyle than I did then for example I haven't drank any sodas in over 2 years as I been practicing living an overall heathy lifestyle so thank you very much. I just know that we don't want anything else to do with this place and while my dad is still going to go because he wasn't there to witness all the horrors, we told him all of this info the day we came back from the last appointment, and he fully supports our decision and told us that we don't have to go just because he is going and that we should find a new dentist which is what we are going to do.

Excuse me, but do people really leave the dentist office with dirty teeth? I saw the dentist for all of 5 minutes where he tried to sell me a mouth guard and once I told him I already had him he ran out the room like I had the plague. No discussion of my X-rays or teeth. I had to ask the tech who was trying to shove me out the door without the cleaning that I had scheduled ( the waiting on the phone for 10 minutes just to schedule an appointment should have been my first clue to run) if I had any cavities or other findings from the exam (which was as mentioned brief and fingers smelled like garlic). Got a bill after for 3D X-ray that was never discussed so yet another attempt to nickel and dime you if the mouth guard spiel doesn't work. Also had sores in my mouth after from them not being gentle with the X-ray plastic mouth bites. Beware!!

I ask them to remove things like fluoride treatment, cancer screening, etc. Then I asked about the gingival rinse (nothing more than squirting chlorhexadine on your gums), which costs almost $200. I'd been paying for this all along, mind you. They first said they could remove it from the bill, but then said they could not - but could discount it. I agreed because I believe that my insurance somehow required it and it was still $140.
