All of the people at Teckels are soooo lovely and so friendly. I rescued my dog from Teckels and pay regular visits back to them to drop off food, toys, blankets! Having dogs board at Teckels is really nothing to worry about - they will be taken very good care of. If your dog has special requirements - like needing to sleep on the left side of the kennel or whatever, Teckels will accommodate. The staff really are all pet lovers, and will treat your dog just like it's their own. Your dog will be exercised and loved and played with - whatever they desire! This is a bonus too, because any profit made from the boarding of your dogs goes directly to helping the rehoming side of Teckels. The only downside that I can think of is that the car park is only tiny and very pot-holey! But that doesn't affect the care and attention that pooches get at Teckels. read more

I was disappointed with the service I received from this establishment. The kennels managed to mislay my dog's favourite toy (they are still trying to locate it) and mislaid her food container. After numerous phone calls and an email all of which they never answered I managed to track down the container after I phoned back for about the 4th time. Yes, they are a busy kennels but this is no excuse for poor customer service. It doesn't cost that much to return a phone call and in my opinion is just plain rude. Caring for animals includes ensuring that items belonging to an animal are returned at time of collection. They appear to be a disorganised team. Logic would tell me that when an animal is booked in and they note the details down, they also make note of any items that arrive with the animal so that they can be returned. Not returning phone calls just adds to the frustration and is bad business. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

We got our cat Duke from Teckles. We board him there when we go away. He is always well looked after and given lots of cuddles which he adores. We often call in to drop off food or blankets and see the residents. The staff really look after all the animals whether they are boarders or there for rehoming. Thank you Teckles!! read more
