The barman asked for our order and mine was a dry vodka martini , why change the habit of a lifetime lol. After a few minutes he came over with an iced martini glass, a bottle of vodka and a bottle of vermouth. Smiling, he said ' 50/50?' My reply '90/10'. A great guy that started a wonderful evening. When the remainder of our party arrived we were shown to our table, outside on the patio overlooking the sea. What could make this idyllic situation better. The food. There was a mixture of orders around the table and everyone was in awe of the standard of cuisine. My mussels were totally delicious.
