The coaches honestly made me feel like a member. They me feel like I was family. I met Kristen and Bill and instantly felt like we were best friends. Bill is a great coach. He took time to ensure each athlete was doing the reps 100% correctly in a encouraging and safe way. I can't wait to visit Bloomingtin again so I can workout with such an incredible community. Thank you for being what exactly Crossfit is supposed to be, an open minded community full of positive vibes, exercise and fun.

Approachable coaches who also will push me 150% (I totally forgot to mention FUN!!) And I found it. I've been going to Evolve since mid-March, and from day 1 have had an incredible experience. Above a great experience, I'm seeing my body transform right in front of me. Not only physically am I stronger, but also mentally. The athletes and coaches form a genuine community of support and camaraderie. Love this gym, love the journey!

They have created a culture of honor at the gym with a fun atmosphere. There are all shapes, sizes, and ages that attend and all are made to feel welcome. Drew takes a special interest in each one of his members in a way that I've never experienced. If you don't go for a couple of days, you can bet you'll get a text from Drew. Unlike other gyms, he'll reach out to you simply because he wants you to improve, not just because your renewal date is coming up. They also regularly program interesting workouts to keep you on your toes. Over the course of 18 months, the workouts never got easy because Drew kept finding ways to keep them challenging. During my time at Be Strong, I truly felt like I had a community of people who cared about my personal progression. Ever since I moved away from Bloomington, I've been trying to figure out how to replace this truly special experience.

We signed him up and showed up for the 9:30 am Saturday class. At 9:03 we were greeted by Gris, I believe she said her name was. After she looked for his reservation for several minutes she said he wasn't signed up, this is after we showed her the receipt email and confirmation, and that he wasn't there 30 minutes before so he couldn't do the class. So at 9:07 after she took several minutes not finding his reservation and she said there was plenty of room in the class he could not do the class or the next one for the Day. Is that how you get new members? Is that how you treat customers? Unbelievably disappointed. He will not be joining. I called to ask the girl at the front desk to have her manager call me. Instead of apologizing she argued with me. I really hope I get a call back. I hate that this happened because I really enjoyed coming here when I visited home and the trainers were great. These women really get me motivated to work out, and do things I don't really want to do. But after I do them and the classes I feel so much better and want to do better in my life. Dafne is a wonderful person, shipment of energy and makes a great leader. All of the women that instruct the classes are awesome because they all have a lot of energy and they know how to explain the moves in a way that you get the hang of it. The most important part about the gym, is that there is no judgment. You don't feel like you're being watched, or judged on how you do the moves compared to someone else. The instructors are easy to talk to if you need help or to get the form down to prevent injury. These ladies are looking out for you without embarrassing you. The trainer, Nicolette is great! When I did some training with her, she explained why we are doing the exercises, which really helped me understand why I was doing it! It made me enjoy going to training instead of dreading it.

In fact, you really can't go wrong with any of the classes/instructors here. I believe there are around 140 classes in total throughout the week, so many different options for you to choose from (classes are included FREE with membership). You also get points every time you check into the gym that you can redeem for free stuff. The equipment is well-maintained. I have not encountered an issue with the equipment. The gym consists of nice free weight areas (1 big area downstairs and 2 smaller ones upstairs away from the crowd). There's also plenty of cardio equipment, a sled track, classrooms for classes, an SLX studio, spinning room, and the PIT. The people also make the difference here. Shout out to the front desk, especially Liz and Rana. All the front desk staff is friendly and will greet you when you walk in. Plus, free coffee in the morning after your workout (and sometimes in the afternoon too). There's also a smoothie bar open from time to time, and childcare services. Each gym has it's own vibe. The vibe here seems likes it centers around working class folks and families. Sure, there are some big powerlifters and high-end athletes, but nothing compared to a "meathead" gym. I highly recommend this place for working professionals, busy parents, and mature younger adults to get and stay healthy.
