Drew takes a special interest in each one of his members in a way that I've never experienced. If you don't go for a couple of days, you can bet you'll get a text from Drew. Unlike other gyms, he'll reach out to you simply because he wants you to improve, not just because your renewal date is coming up. They also regularly program interesting workouts to keep you on your toes. Over the course of 18 months, the workouts never got easy because Drew kept finding ways to keep them challenging. During my time at Be Strong, I truly felt like I had a community of people who cared about my personal progression. Ever since I moved away from Bloomington, I've been trying to figure out how to replace this truly special experience.

It's a laid back, welcoming, clean facility with a mixture of clients that range from young to retirees. Other gyms can be intimidating, lots of people trying to impress each other, trying to date each other, being brutes. The work out company is different. It's a community filled with locals who love fitness, from casual exercise to intense weight lifting. People greet each other and talk to each other, as a community should. In addition, the work out company supports our special needs residents through work experience. This place has heart !

So at 9:07 after she took several minutes not finding his reservation and she said there was plenty of room in the class he could not do the class or the next one for the Day. Is that how you get new members? Is that how you treat customers? Unbelievably disappointed. He will not be joining. I called to ask the girl at the front desk to have her manager call me. Instead of apologizing she argued with me. I really hope I get a call back. I hate that this happened because I really enjoyed coming here when I visited home and the trainers were great. These women really get me motivated to work out, and do things I don't really want to do. But after I do them and the classes I feel so much better and want to do better in my life. Dafne is a wonderful person, shipment of energy and makes a great leader. All of the women that instruct the classes are awesome because they all have a lot of energy and they know how to explain the moves in a way that you get the hang of it. The most important part about the gym, is that there is no judgment. You don't feel like you're being watched, or judged on how you do the moves compared to someone else. The instructors are easy to talk to if you need help or to get the form down to prevent injury. These ladies are looking out for you without embarrassing you. The trainer, Nicolette is great! When I did some training with her, she explained why we are doing the exercises, which really helped me understand why I was doing it! It made me enjoy going to training instead of dreading it.

Gets my membership card. I don't know how to adequately describe this interaction. I didn't feel I had her full attention. Some ladies came up to the counter. Instead of finishing up what she was doing, she walks away without saying anything. Goes with this lady. Tries to help another lady. When she got back to us, it literally took 1 minute to finish.
