Reasons for the 1 star review: 1. When I picked up my vehicle the antenna was dangling from the windshield not attached. 2. When I tried to pay for my vehicle, no one was in the office at 2pm on a normal business day. 3. Left several messages for someone to call me so I could pay. Tried them for 2 days. 4. Finally had someone call days later to take a CC over the phone but never sent a receipt. 5. I called and left a message for the manager to call me back about experience, never returned my call. 6. Emailed corporate website to complain, again never reached out to me. Such a shame as between my 2 business and personal vehicles I have close to 20 Windshields. I will use Safe-lite in the future. read more

Man, I can't get these guys to take my money! Come in with a small chip and Dom says its surface only, no harm done, no risk of propagating, and no need to pay $20 to patch it. Three weeks later I catch a big rock, but can't find any damage... until I wash the shield a week later and the chip stars in six directions, right down in front - super awkward location. Dom spent extra time with it and the repair looks fantastic to me, but since its not perfect by the manager's standards they didn't charge me. The lady that runs the place and Dom the technician are a class act, you better believe I'll be giving them my business when the inevitable happens. Thank you! (cross-posted Google) read more

Local folks (Grand Junction) gave quick and great service. Call the local number (970) 245-3278 for the best service. Big disconnect between website and what gets communicated to the local office. Even the 888 number got things messed up. Local office manager corrected the mess and got me in at the time I wanted, plus had the correct glass on-hand. Hope no more cracked windshields but if I do then I'll certainly return to these folks. read more

We were in the area for less than 18 hours. Our RV get a stone chip in the windshield on our way into Grand Junction the night before. One week after replacing my front car window the mirror fell off. They put it back on, but the next day it fell off again and this time it took part of the windshield with it. I showed it to them and they didn't want to warranty it. The owner had a real bad attitude. Said things like, "You want me to pay for this?", and "This will cost you another $75." I had to threaten them with a lawsuit before they agreed to make it right. If you go here - beware! If they're service or attitude changes then I will repost it here. read more

I had a chip on my windshield from a recent trip. Darn semis! I called my insurance company to make sure my chip repair would be paid for. The lady said no, that I would owe $100 deductible. I was bummed going in to Techna Glass, but figured their advertised $19 repair charge would still be reasonable. Their clerk, Jennie, thought it was strange my insurance would not pay for repair. So she encouraged me to call my insurance company again, and she actually did too- direct! Needless to say, Jennie was correct. The first insurance lady was incorrect and Jennie saved me a little moolah. Techna Glass repaired my chip beautifully, and quickly! I spent more time on the phone with the insurance company than they did fixing my window. It's Jennie's tenacity and service that gives this rating a 5. She went above and beyond, explaining that she used to work in insurance so figured the quote I was given was incorrect. Her friendly persistence and assistance made my day.
