I was able to tell a huge difference after my first appointment. My surgeon was concerned that I may have to have a second manipulation done since my range of motion to the side and behind my back was not getting any better. My second appointment, Marissa worked on my arm and all the tightness that was I was experiencing. Once she was done, I got dressed and was moving my arm around. I literally almost cried because I was able to move my arm so much better. I was able to reach partially behind my back (which I have not been able to do for almost a a year), and I was able to move my arm off to the side! She's a miracle worker!!! I know with my next appointment, it will get even better! I'm so thankful for her!!

After a few cold nights walking around downtown to see the lights and going to Light Up the Night at the baseball stadium. I was in a lot of pain and reached out to Traci, and she was able to fit me into her schedule, which I really appreciated. She used a combination of deep tissue massage and cupping, and my shoulder finally relaxed. I felt real relief after the session and was able to enjoy the rest of my trip without constant pain. Traci was professional, easy to talk to, and she really knew what she was doing. I highly recommend Traci to anyone in Charleston or visiting the area. The orthopedic surgeon who fixed it chose to insert a titanium rod. after a few months of rehab I was back to walking normally. I have since learned, from another doctor , that osteoporosis is visible to the naked eye. But the surgeon did not mention it to me nor prescribe medication for it. a few months after recovery a metatarsal snapped in the foot of my other leg , causing another fall. The pain was excruciating. I had a worse break of the same femur. As was being prepped for surgery, I heard the surgeon tell someone " this is going to be a bitch." That time I got a titanium plate added to the same femur , closer to the knee. I still was not told what the underlying condition was , so I read up on it, asked my GP for a bone scan order and have been on Fossamax ever since. I tolerate the meds well. I don't know what the moral of the story is , but I was furious that I wasn't told about the osteoporosis. I believe this is the worst hospital in the state. in the future , I will go to WVU in Morgantown, WV . The quality of care is better than anything Charleston has to offer. I have not broken another bone.
