    El E.

Living in Vicenza, this was one of my favorite places. The Olimpico is the first indoor theater in masonry in the world. It was built in 1580 and took 5 years to complete. The seating and stage are incredible and the acoustics are brilliant. There are 400 seats and holds theater and music productions. A must see while in northern Italy.

Yesterday I went on my 2nd and last visit with my husband and a friend. The server gave the impression that she spoke English proficiently. I ordered drinks and their Monday night special by saying "vorre costine all you can eat". Which is exactly what is said on their Ad Flyer for €10. She repeated and moved on to the next person at the table. The friend want the same as I. My husband ordered a plain hamburger. When the plate was brought to the table it was little chops. Both my friend and I thought that maybe since chops are attached to ribs that this was their take on ribs. Not real pleased, we ate our dinner. Did not see the server at all during this time. Once we were done eating the meat, we flagged down the server and asked her for more, but didn't they have regular ribs? All of a sudden she no longer spoke English and called another server who spoke English fluently. She explained that they had made a mistake and asked did we want the ribs. We indicated yes. Ribs were then brought out and we proceeded to eat what we wanted. I did not like the quality of the ribs nor the taste. Forward on to making payment. The same server rang our purchase up. She charged us for the original two plates at €19 each and €10 each for the ribs. I questioned this and she immediately got her coworker to come back. The coworker explained that even the first order was a mistake, we ate it so therefore we had to pay for it. Instead of paying 10 each of our main plate, two of us had to pay €29 each. There is nothing at this restaurant that I would pay that much for. Don't think this was a mistake. I think it was deliberate.
