Castillo de Serrallés is still a wonderful place to enjoy a great historical tour. The castle remains beautiful, offering breathtaking views of the city and surrounding areas. Although the parking situation is not the best, you will not be spending a very long time there, so it is manageable. For me, the experience felt very different because when I was a little girl, we used to visit and it was amazing to see the castle and La Cruceta del Vigía without so many fences around them. Even so, it continues to be a place full of history, charm, and beauty that is definitely worth visiting.

Turns out it's a tour of the mansion and how it relates to Don Q rum (the business). Tour guide was great and the mansion is beautiful (kitchen was not). At the end of the tour is the gift shop and you can purchase some refreshments including alcoholic beverages. I wanted a pina colada and it was terrible! Ruined my taste for the last time I had one in PR. Overall, it was just ok and we got the low end tickets which were 18.00 a piece (not incl taxes). My recommendation is to drive up there and walk around the outside and take pics.

El resto del cine me pareció bastante limpio y ordenado. La experiencia fue buena.

It's a nice place to visit with the family that won't set you back. Entrance is $7 for adults and $3 for kids. Children under under 2 don't pay. Our son liked seeing the turtles, birds, and iguanas. We enjoyed a hike around the grounds. It's an easy hike, apt for all ages. There's plenty to see, from flora to sculptures. There is an indigenous ceremonial plaza, a small museum with indigenous artifacts, and of course there are some remnants of the old sugar mill. The Casa Jíbara is pretty cool. You can take a guided tour for an extra $3 or roam around on your own. If you get hungry there is a shack that serves food and refreshments. I believe the official name of the place is: Caguana Indigenous Ceremonial Center but you might also find it on wikipedia using this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caguana_Ceremonial_Ball_Courts_Site. When we got there it was raining and the guards would not allow us to go in. So we checked out the one room museum with artifacts and descriptions of the Taino people's life style 700 years ago. Then there was a break in the rain and so they let us in on the condition that we would be careful. The guide did not speak English very well but my wife spoke Spanish fluently while I could make out the gist of what she was saying. If you are interested in cultures make sure to have the guide explain what you are looking at otherwise it is hard to decipher the meaning of the petroglyphs or of the surrounding structures and ceremonial ball courts. To us this was a very special experience since the rain kept other people away and we took off our slippers and walked barefoot on the soft mud of the ball courts. And with a few drops of rain dropping down on use, and the fog rising from the surrounding mountains we were able to get a feeling of what the Taino people may have been feeling 700 years ago.

When booking, we were thinking the price wasn't too bad, forgetting it wasn't an all inclusive resort. There are three restaurants in the main side of the resort. We only ate at the buffet for breakfast. It was good, but not worth $27 per person. The pool bar had a small menu, that was pretty good. The pool was very large and the slide section was roped off, so it did not bother the rest of the pool area. The beach was not great. Only about 6 loungers, which were always full. The water is very rough and no lifeguards. What they don't tell you is that there is another side you can go with a very nice pool and much better beach. Go to the valet desk and ask for the shuttle to the golf course. This was pretty empty and we had it almost to ourselves. The downside to that is there was no open bar near the pool.
